Thank you guys
I`m so afraid of doing that
My cutting and soldering were so bad that I thought I had screwd everything (well, still got a chance of it)
Excuse my ignorance, but by meter you mean multimeter?

yes
Thank you
It is working now, this PCB is so good
You guys are awesome
I just want to chime in on the win8.1 issues.
From my experiences, I had a lot of dropped inputs and sticky inputs (eg. Character still crouches after returning to neutral) when plug in via forced 360 mode.
However the stick works fine if its in cerberus mode as far as I can tell. It also works fine on ps3/360.
Iām not sure what this means, just thought I provide more data for those who are savvy enough to figure out whatās going on.
Do you have your stick on LS or DP?
DP, that was the first thing I checked.
Iāve had this problem for while, I just was able to work on it today.
I did the solderless dual mod for the SCV TE PCB. It worked flawlessly for a couple months.
Randomly, the stick stopped working and it wouldnāt detect 360 nor PS3. So, I disassembled both and tested both PCBS by themselves. The SCV PCB directly connected to a PC would work, but the Cerberus PCB would not. I checked the connections and did the solderless method and then soldered directly.
Cerberus would give me a USB not recognized, then I tried it again and it would not show up at all. I donāt know if you have encountered this problem yet. Iāll troubleshoot it more, I just want to know if there is a fix.
flash firmware otherwise might be dead board

Not familiar with that being anything of common nature, so I dunno what would have caused it to start doing that other than being shocked or something. Let me know if it continues to happen after a reflashing attempt.
hiya, im currently trying to dual mod my X360 Hori SCV fight stick with the no connecters ver. of cerberus and im having a bit if issues. please note that i pretty much know nothing in concerns with doing this efficiently/properly
currently i have been able to solder on the usb cable and getting my comp to pick it up as āCerberus v1.01ā or something like that, in concerns with the pushbuttons and joystick iām not too sure, as im thinking that both wires of each pushbutton are required for functionality iāve just joined then together via stripping and twisting them together and soldering them to the pcb with no luck getting a response of them being pushed. in concerns of my joy stick iāve wired it as so (red - down, orange - up, yellow - left and green - right) but iāve a black cable still free which im not sure what to do with it and as im not getting a response on the computer of the joystick being moved iān assuming the wire needs to be placed somewhere.
iāve also run into the issue as to where to solder the back and home buttons since they are connected with the turbo panel of the stick.
Iāll post a pic of the current state of the pcb (please forgive the soldering job) to try and give more insight.
scratch that, managed to get it working after i realized the stick and buttons needed to be grounded. though I still have the issue concerning the back and home buttons on the turbo panel. wondering if itād be easier just to grab some push buttons and wires from my old stick and drilling holes making new āback and homeā buttons
use a multimeter to find out where the buttons are on the PCB
Sounds like youāre piggybacking the wire from the cerberus to the existing button wires. Donāt do that. Solder everything to the PCB and use short length wires.
With my last Win7 device, the stick came up fine under both modesā¦PC/PS3 force or Xbox
just built a new comp and it canāt detect either. itāll flash the guide button then install as unknown device and not register inputs under usb game controllers(no device shown either)
any suggestions?
Test mode works plugging in holding start buttonā¦couldnāt really find any manual drivers.
Thanks
Edit: just read the whole previous page and all my ports on this new pc are USB3.0ā¦maybe it is causing issues?Because on my older pc it was definitely fine no matter where I plugged it in
2nd Edit : just plugged in a cheap ass Toshiba USB 4 port hub i had and the Stick into that and it works fine now. So thereās def some USB3.0 controller issuesā¦but easy fix!
serachedā¦this was it :

Any word on availability through Focus Attack again?
Working on that. Iām a bit behind in programming/testing them but should be complete in the next day or two. FA will have them shortly afterward in both fully assembled and unassembled variants.
Have a question that I would like some help. Imoded my friends v.s. stick with the Cerberus advanced install. Iāve done the advanced install a bunch of times now. However there seems to be an issue with his stick.
The last two buttons do not seem to register the signal thus not giving him the action when he presses the buttons. so it would be 4k and, 4p
It seems like in 360 mode that sometimes certain buttons register when that button isnāt being pressed. I looked at all the connectionsand could not come to a conclusion not only is he upset. I am too because Iām stumped this has never happened before and the method of how j install the mod has not changed either. Could this just be the board?
Itās not impossible that the board is acting oddly, itās just really rare.
Itās also possible that the 360 board has an issue with it as well, which is causing a problem.
Did you not see these issues after the install and tested it yourself before giving it back to him? Or did you not see them, and theyāre just now appearing after some time?
Thanks for the reply Clayton.
The stick is the v.s. stick I tried out the stick before I Gave it to him and it only seemed like the last two buttons were not working 4p and 4k I told him about it and he said okay as long as I get back to it and I said of course. I did this during fighting game casuals so the time was not in my favor. I tested it out before k sealed it back up and it was working fine. And I showed him that its all functioning. however when i left said casuals he told me about the issue. That sometimes 2p would come out as 3p and vice versa. It didnt do it before so im guessing something moved when i sealed it up. I dont have the stick so i cant get any pics any time soon. But i was just curious as to what may be going on my guess is the wires are touching which is what usually happens
The button switching thing by the way was happening when it was in 360 mode apparently as thatās what he informed me was going on. It works fine in ps3 mode
