Da’Tendo that shit was dope! I’m having a good time, I don’t like SFIV very much but what I do like is being around friends and away from cars, even if it’s just for a few hours. I love you guys a lot, why do you think the moment after I made it back here, and Chris was hosting I was there? Not because I missed SFIV, but I missed you guys. I was still recovering from jetlag and wasn’t feeling too hot, but I was there, cause I wanted to see everyone.
Sean is right, Pat and Gavin are a little harsh on their advice, but hey you’ve gotta take it with a grain of salt, and check out the most important part of what they’re saying. That and if they didn’t want us to get better they wouldn’t give us advice right?
As far as business and life goes, I lucked out, I was a college drop out, and look where I’m at now, I took over the family business, and I’m making things better, I’ve expanded, and I’ve made my customers expand, and you know what it took? Hard work, patience, and a lot of support from my friends and family, and a little bit of work. Things haven’t always been good for me, there were a lot of times I was broke, and was eating cup ramen, driving a nice car to buy ramen (shudder), however I’ve worked my ass off to get where I’m going, and just cause you hit a snag, or are feeling you’re going nowhere, it just takes a bit of thinking to realize what you need to do to make things happen.
And y’know what? You’re still probably going to screw up, you’ll probably fail again, but so long as you have will power then you’ll be fine. If one thing that I’ve learned on my own after my meager 23 years of living is this; “Success isn’t given, it’s earned; and to earn it, it requires hard work.” So despite your background, of what you’ve done, or whatever, you can still be successful, though it’s hard.
Sometimes you get stuck in a rut of working a regular 9-5 and still have nothing to show for it, but you can always pick up another job. Sean, I’m going to use you for a reference, but Sean works at the jail house, but he’s also got a second job. He’s working his ass off, for what? To get out of a fuckin rut that had nothing to do with. The man’s working his ass off, and I give him mad props, cause he’s doing it, he’s had shoulders to lean on too, but he’s doing it!
All in all, I love you guys (no homo) and I like kicking it and playing SFIV with you guys, you guys are the reason why I keep playing this game, and I’m trying to improve to help you guys improve. Though I’ll honestly say, if we played 3S, HD:R, ST, Power Stone II, or any of the Rival Schools game, I’d be a lot happier, but I still enjoy playing SFIV with you guys.
