Nice! I nominate myself and Anthony for Team Slim or Team Indian Cuisine! Sounded good to me in my head, so I posted it. Don’t hate.

Honestly, I wouldn’t mind a five dollar entry fee, however I don’t think everyone can afford it…I think a dollar fee would be great. And being able to set side bets on yourself would be kinda cool too.

Or a fifty cent entry fee, I mean it’s not about doing it big, IMO it’s about being able to play with the pressure.

I think we should do what demarcus said, and make a spread sheet based on our win:lose ratio based one another. Even then though, if you were to miss out, you’d still be kinda SOL. Unless we could come up with a way of having those who missed out on official internet battle. So lets just say we do it Demarcus’ way (and if we don’t we might get thrown through a wall), and someone misses the ranbat, the would still be able to do a few make up battles via online.

So the person who misses the ranbat would be able to setup a time and date with their other opponents to play 2/3 rounds, for their standing to the ranbat. However it has to be confirmed by the two players (so to help with cheating), then updated via our forum on SRK or myspace or whatever.

And by the end of the ranbat, we can see where we’re weaker and have the ability to get better. So lets say I lose to pat every time for the ranbat, then pat and I would schedule a time, and see how things are going with me. In order for us to get better we have to explain our weakness to everyone else. For instance, most matches I’ll tell people that I’m free on tick throw’s, because I want them to exploit that, so i can learn. I also tell people to be careful of my meaty cr. fwd to headbutt, because I want people to be able to counter it, so it will force me to try new things.

It’s always good to have internal rivalries, hell I recommend it, but if you don’t put out your strength’s and weaknesses out there, you’ll never get the WHOLE group to improve.

Also for this ranbat season, I think we need to be FIRM, on ranbat dates, and winner stays the same character, and people please stop doing casuals inbetween matches cause it slows down the ranbat!
I’d be surprised if anyone read this entire thing ha ha

it’s all about that TC punk ass, TC owns TS/TIC for freee

Yea and no dirty bull-shit…(anyone catch that  you should ray) everyone plays to their fullest no i wasn’t really trying, man i dont know im doing, or T’s flashy screen or else expect these size 12 penny loafers up yo ass and a claw in the gut! So basically don’t slip up or i’ll fuckin kill you…:badboy:

My blanka has no place in this kind of environmenttt.

You with us Scott …that is…unless you wanna be a victim :chainsaw:

uhmmmm, that chainsaw looks pretty intimidating lol.

Idk man Balrog and Ryu have more vitality than your Vega Matt =]
Lol I thought you hated the word cute Pat
I’m used to that word
Also Rodolpho $5 is too much, let’s keep it lower at 1
I don’t think you guys are ready for Saikyo Power… =[

The system I’m thinking of is similiar to this system: http://www.game-versus.net/danisen/grade.html
However it’s slightly different, They still do their tournament style which again is what I’m trying to debate against from jump.

However taking the concept from that, everyone starts at an increment of 0 and depending on winning or losing that number can decrease or increase and at a certain amount of wins you will obtain a sort of “rank”. With that being said this ranking matches can be held at ANY gathering here. So lets say they miss a Ranbat, as opposed to that people can attend the next gathering and make it up with a challenge match, and seeing as how we have so many gatherings it won’t be hard for someone to catch up upon just entering the season.

Now, from losing your score can of course go negative, meaning it would put pressure to win similiar to a actual ranbat.
For an example of how i’m describing it, watch this video and look at the 0 under the players names and watch how it increases and decreases. That’s sort of what I’m partaining to

Lol I was really thinking of switching to Sagat for the longest time, but I can’t seem to drop Balrog
Yeah I agree with Steve everyone just feel free to tell me your weaknesses

I know your weakness ray,
You lose to me =OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Join punk ass, or die.

Shoot everyone already knows my weakness, exploit them all you can, seriously, here’s one I’ve been noticing a lot, I do a lot of random ultras and random nj. fierce.

Lol silly Ray you’re confusing Vega with you were correct “My Vega” my vitality last as long as i wish it too…this time will be different.

OMG ME TOO -.-
Girls right? lol

Demarcus, that’s a pretty cool idea, but I dunno, it’s kinda weird, I think Da’Tendo and I could sit down and figure something out to combine all the ideas to see what we can do to make this better.

The only issue I have with running missed fights via xbl and psn…is it lacks the social factor of hanging out and shit talking…

I never said anything about online. I’m actually totally against running missed fights online. What I’m trying to say besides I want to throw online through a wall is that no fights are set in stone, in terms your not missing anything by missing a gathering when it can just be made up at the next available gathering.

Yeah it is, I don’t want to be thrown through walls

um no I was kinda like thinking to myself, about my last post.

The problem I see with that system is for it to be accurate, you’d have to everyone fighting everyone. So I don’t think that would really work, that and it doesn’t really show where your strength and weakness lies. Previously in the ranbats too see where you stood was as simple as looking back on the challonge deal. You can see there’s a lot of repeats of who lost against who, so it was a lot easier to measure where you stood.

Lol yeah
We will now be Team Combo-Until-Time-Expires [CUTE] Aka Saikyo Power along with Pat if he’s for it

yeahh and so if you missed it, you’re just in a neutral state right? instead of missing out on points you could have gotten if you actually had attended that ranbat with the style we are using now?
