So, completed my first runthrough… I missed ONE Muspelheim and about 8 Crows.
Last Boss was… unimpressive compared to Bayo 1 Final Boss, but it was a nice way to tie everything together.

Wish we spent more time in Inferno… That was a really cool location, but fuck those dudes with the OHKO attack.

Got an overall Silver ranking due to me shitting it up learning how to use Takemikazuchi(which I still suck with).
Gonna take a short break then get started on the Witch Trials and a Pure Platinum run.
Platinum still the best Dev of this current era.
Is anyone using Kafka (Insecticon Crossbow). I see it gives enemies a purple haze, so it does some poison thing, but does anyone know it ot weakens, slows them, drains health, or all of the above?
Right now just farming and doing 3rd Climax run and started to use The Hammer. Loving it for those big Bertha types post witch time.

I’m liking Kafka for survivability in witch trials, but it really messes with my ranking, gotta figure out some synergy with another weapon. Gonna start working on whip and hammer combo, but whip and chainsaw is still my fave.

You guys wanna cheese bosses and heavy enemies? Bow with Chain Chomp is broke. PPPPK easy damage and for some reason always gives a platinum for combo rank.

Yo, Rosa is crazy powerful. Her low defense is extremely low though, you will get two shotted in two and three star difficulties in Tag Climax lol
Dunno if people know this but Salamandra Chainsaws have a followup attack to all their attacks where you basically just hold the attack button until the chainsaws glow red, then release. If you time it right you get a powerful automatic followup attack, and it’s worth about 1.5x the points of a regular chainsaw attack and it doesn’t take as much time to execute because it slashes quickly instead of sawing through. It’s amazing for winning in Tag Climax, it tends to out-do a lot of other weapons in point gain in my experience. Works on ANY chainsaw attack, not just regular PPPP chains

If anyone is interested in grinding for Halos, the best option so far is Tag Climax with CPU, Verse Card 21, just do X > X > X (hold) and you quickly reach 9.99 multiplier and 9,999 combo (you can actually score more, but the game stops showing).
After completion, exit Tag Climax for more than a 100k, rinse and repeat
Got all the hearts, crows and completed the game on 2nd and 3rd Climax and bought all the available costumes. Rosa is amazing.

I’m about to start my infinite climax play through. I’ve got all my muspelheims done, still need a few crows. Finished 2nd and 3rd climax. Have pretty much everything bought that’s available. Gotta read up on how to get some of these accessories unlocked.
Getting plats is a cinch now, but I usually get knocked once and miss out on a pure plat, gonna try to go for a 3rd climax pure platinum after I finish infinite climax.
