I think the little kid is the Lumen Sage she’s seen fighting later in the trailer. That’s my current theory.
Jimmy I’m pretty sure the Bow and Arrow are a new weapon thus the speed of the attack and variety of attack with it. Maybe taps yield slashes with the bow and holds yield arrow shots. Then from there you go on with special techniques.
I honestly can’t wait to see the full story. Lots of stuff going on with some more gobbly gook to chew on.

the bow and arrow can be picked up in bayonetta one, and you can get them in a combo with rodins weapon. the easiest way is ppk, hold kick, and she will start charging and shooting arrows. well i guess maybe its no longer just a pick up item or a part of rodins transformation list, so yeah in a way its new, but its not completely new, just revamped for bayo 2. it was one that was the least practical weapons to use because of such slow startup. so you had to be in specific conditions to get it off. well, eh, sometimes the enemies can be lazy with the mask off, even on pure platinum, so you could get it off more then you would think, but overall it wasnt the most pleasant to use, but super powerful. either way, its nice to be able to use it quickly now, and not after like 2 seconds of charging, then shooting. lol
Jimmy I don’t think you are hearing me or watching the video clearly. The Bow and Arrow are a new EQUIPABLE weapon for Bayonetta to carry around. You can tell because…
- It’s 2014 and everyone is rocking a bow these days.
- Bayonetta is in a boss fight so why would an Angel Bow and Arrow be handy?
- The video jumps ahead just a little to show off that weapon specifically with witch time. So that we can appreciate it more.
- The bow and the arrows that are being fired look nothing like Angel weapons. The bow is sized for Bayo to use on a regular basis. None of her weapons have ever been grossly oversized. That’s what the Angel’s weapons are for.
- The way the arrows are launched are faster and are hitting at weird angles. Not to mention the arrows themselves are thinner and colored yellow. Sure the impact and animations might be similar to using the Angel’s Bow in the first game but these look pretty unique.
- I would dare say Bayonetta does some kind of backwards leap technique and not some run of the mill jump with that bow equipped.
- Because we need our own bow and arrow.

All we need is a release date…I actually been replaying Bayo 1. M skills faltered a bit but thegame is still perfect, the sequel is shaping up to look godlike.
Also Kamiya has stated if this does well he’d be hapoy to make a Bayo 3, as well as a Jeanne spin off game
why are you arguing with me. lol. i said its in a way new, mostly revamped. im sure it will have more options then it did in bayonetta. the bow and arrow already existed, so its a revamped weapon with new skills and better. im not going to sit here and pretend the bow and arrow i have been using for years just somehow doesnt exist because platinum revamped the weapon for bayonetta 2, as they should, because it would have been nice to have more to do with it, and have it be more practical in bayonetta. it even does the same double arrow charged shot as in bayonetta, but by its design and usage, its not a part of the rodin weapon, and is either an item to pickup still (that works better), or something you can finally actually purchase. im going to go with something you can purchase, as pickup items in bayonetta one “stuck” to you, and were obvious, unless they decided to change that.
so yeah, i know its a new weapon in bayonetta 2, but we all can agree the bow and arrow exist in bayonetta, you just cannot get your rocks off with it like you want.

The competition between the W101 team and the Bayo 2 Team seems to have done us gamers a wonderful favor lol.
Not yet, there is still plenty of time (due to the potential release date) and more in depth views at the game to build the hype up to max.

The wait for Bayo 2 is killing me. Im probably gonna watch Bloody Fate this weekend, also question, is the blu ray release subbed? I have no problem importing. But I cant find no info on if the dvd itself has subs
Yeah, hopefully they announce something at E3, can’t think after wrapping up Wonderful 101 (great game) that Platinum wouldn’t have it ready again for E3 especially if the Fall/Winter/Late 2014 date is still in effect.
I would prefer summer so I can play ASAP. And I found out the movie is subbed. So I may get the special edition. Soon.
Im just hoping we get a date. I cant remember the last time I been so hyped for a game.
Besides not having a Wii U I’ve lost all my hype. I feel like this game will come at a time when even fewer people will care.
What’s Platnium’s next game though? They gotta keep the lights on so I’m expecting some PS4 XB1 PC action.
