This is also why I was so annoyed at the comments that were made about her via online, media and twitter in 2015 barring her appearance in the The Force Awakens stating that she looked “Old” or whatever, and I was sitting here thinking…she’s 59 years old! Of course she’s going to look old (nothing wrong with that, because being in our 50’s we’ll CLEARLY not look like how we did in our early 20s), and their has been practically a 40 year gap since A New Hope to that point. I was so happy to see that she took it like a Champion and made a witty remark back to those idiots.
It’s times like these that I wonder what those morons who made such comments would feel now.
I’m really at a lost of words, she was one of the First Female Actress that I could seriously remember as a kid growing up in the 80s who wasn’t symbolized as a ditzy Bimbo on screen (Sigourney Weaver was another Actress who was a badass along with Carrie at that time).
Such an extremely sad loss, and now with the New Star Wars movie looming next year, it will be sad to see them writing her off. It’s going to suck to see how Luke (Mark Hamill) will showcase this emotion on screen, however the “only” bright side I see is that at least within the Star Wars Fantasy…Han Solo and Lei Organa are now finally reunited in the Force.

The news said she was in cardiac arrest on a plane.
Then this morning some news outlet claimed she was stable.
To be honest this is why I don’t bother watching the news, she probably never regained consciousness. When my father died we were fed similar lines but he essentially died days before, people were just lying or not accepting the truth.
the news was taking the word of the family. the news wasnt right but they werent wrong either, for all they know she was stable and it just turned sideways. it happens alot in medacine.
