Come back from work to find this coming out in August. With this game along side VF5 and DoA5 soon. I’m set. 
It’s the franchise’s 25th anniversary this year. Aside from this, there’s also a new animé and that Namco game all coming within the same window. Heck, it’s probably coming August so that it doesn’t release too close to the Namco game which should hit late Q3 or Q4 this year.

Well, the reason ST Akuma is banned is because there is literally no reason to play any other character if you want an advantage. I’ve never played Jojo’s, but does Petshop only have good matchups, and does he dominate in all of them?
Also, I’m getting the Anime this weekend, it looks real interesting.

There’s a really old tier list that has Pet shop with 9-1 match ups lol but I still don’t think he’s as gdlk as people make him out to be
Yeah, Petshop is really stupid, but I don’t think his attacks do any chip damage.
I think the main complaint with the price is that Super Turbo HD Remix was $15, and Marvel vs Capcom Origins (comes with 2 games) is also $15. Unless they add some amazing features to the game I don’t think it will sell very well… it’s not like Jojo’s had a big following in the first place.
Yeah that’s fair enough I’d only just woken up when I wrote that so my thinking wasn’t too rationale. Hopefully it garners some interest and people will pick it up
The $20 price point is most likely due to license issues. Marvel is a huge company but I think they realize that no one will buy a ported game at $20, Shueisha (the Jojo license holder) is probably of the mind that they do not ever want to devalue their franchises no matter what.

Seriously, it’s been proven to work with GGPO, Capcom have the licence and then it’s not used for this?
Just hoping that quote just mean “Online Features” like the replays and stuff and not the netcode.
I’m guessing that Namco might be involved as well, since they currently have the license to make games from the franchise.
On my personal match up chart(only iggy is filled in Khan slowly getting filled in) I have it as 6-4 in Iggy’s favor.
And there’s also potential issues concerning band/song names.
