Someone give me the low-down on Chang vs. the top 5, plz?
I know Chang’s potential but i’m not too good with him. I think P-Chang’s not your style but P-Chang has lots of potential.

k-sagat vs a-sak is a mess, your best chance with sagat is low jump mix ups and low jump rh…s.mk works sometimes, random jump back rh’s will work sometimes to stop rcing hurricane kicks but you really have to anticipate it…against her s.rh? ummm if you are quick enough you might be able to punish if she wifs…if not i would recommend JDing it just let her do it as many times as she wants just jd it for bar…random well placed fireballs here and there with sagat to control some space or change pace…
if sakura does get in dont panic, concentrate on jding her poke strings because everyone knows her basic gaurd crush patters…wait for opportunity to break free by being patient…
if she has full A meter hahah good luck…what i try to do is bait activation by rushing down and doing some empty jump ins then they try to activate as you land but in the mean time just mash on dp+fp and when you land you might dp her out of activation, sometimes this works sometimes it doesnt, depends on saks execution i think…
my whole gameplan with k-sagat vs a-sak is rushing down sak and causing as much damage as possible before she gets meter, if you are successful in rushing down and doing damage, once she gets meter it gives you the opportunity to turtle and work the clock down because you are in the lead, you need to have real good runaway for this, but this also means that she MUST attack you and it might produce forced mistakes from sak because she has to have an offensive gameplan…
when i have super with sagat i have baited out activation by empty small jumping and doing tiger raid, if she activates when you land and your timing is really good on doing super right when you land your super will hit her…actually this has worked quite a few times…
this is a pritty bad match up for k-sagat but its still doable…
Zangief beats cammy for free imo. Zangief beats chunli too.
care to explain who gief beats cammy? i’d imagine RC lariats for AA and anti-poke, but is that all? do any of gief’s moves shut down cammy’s?
and i thought chun li could just bait a laggy move from gief and medium xx death in C-groove. care to explain that matchup also…
Well cammy needs to go in, and her going in options are shut down almost completely. I gave it more thought and this match isn’t as bad as I said it was. If cammy plays the footwork rright, it won’t be as bad. I think gief just has to watch for a baited lariat.
Chunli is almost even. She can bait laggy moves from anyone so the c.mp of death is allways a scare factor. Giefs jab stuff a lot of stuff.
Also I forgot to mention I’m a complete dumbass. So correct me if I’m wrong.
cammy and chun both beat gief…
cammy can outzone gief with low forward and standing roundhouse easily… gief can’t rc lariat very effectively against her because she’s so fucking small and can punish it with low forward super. Cammy doesn’t need to be point blank to be good.
chun can pretty much do the same thing with standing strong-super.

against cammy all my jumpins lose to either her s.fp or s.rh, should this be happening, or do i just suck? also, how should he deal with that dive kick (which according to frame data gives her + fucking 10 on block)?

well, sagat, he as s.lk, s.mk and c.fp, that all work REALLY good against cammy so its hard for cammy to work her footies cause sagats are better against hers…not only this but sagat has more vitality and power so if he trades its still in his favor, but s.lk takes out more of her moves…
ken can s.rh or f+rh if she wiffs poke and RC funny kick, actually he can work the rh all day on her…and there are some ways to bait out her s.rh to dp it. Even if your miss the dp it wont matter probably the most cammy will do is hit you with a s.rh if she dont got super, and this has to be timed if its not timed you can do another dp and hit her, but the risk vs reward factor for shotos is better, if you miss you get s.rh big deal, if you dp she gets knock down and then she has wake up mind games to deal with.
RC characters do good because they can pressure with rc like for example iori, if she tries to s.rh he rc rekkas and owns her, it kind of shuts down her game, just doing random RC rekkas (that dont wiff) works good because its really hard for her to get around it. same with rc kyo rekkas, yamazaki dust kick etc. Cammy relies on normals with no really good rcing moves, so RC characters take advantage of this by rcing through her normals because she has to work extra hard to get around it.
P groove characters do good because of cammys limited game. If you think about it cammy isnt that complex pritty simple, so things can get repetative. Pgroove can bait out her moves or see them coming easily and parry, and option selecting parrys against cammy really hurts her because most of her moves that are useful are standing moves…

ok my i should have been more specific when i quoted you… mainly i was thinking blanka and kyo vs. cammy.
well what groove are you playing blanka and kyo in? if p groove, just read what i wrote above…if not…then
blanka…one move that blanka has problems with is cammys jumping lk. What you should be doing with blanka is not jumping at all just play footies all day, controlling space with c.fp, c.mp, c.rh, slide, with the occassional low jump rh or mp i wouldnt recommend normal jumping at cammy if you dont have jd or parry or low jump. If cammy does try to jump at you do neutral jump fp, OR if she jumps with lk just do s.fp it takes it out. If you are playing blanka in roll grooves, you can rc hope over some pokes or rc hope into rc elec, or rc elec. If cammy gets in range of your c.mk use it. if cammys dive kick is annoying you do the command hope back move, if you are in the corner do rc hope forward.
kyo vs cammy, low jump fp, low jump d+fp, c.mk, df+rh, s.rh, rekkas, rcing rekkas, c.rh, low jump mk are all good tools against cammy, most of this stuff gets you in range of kyos c.mp which is where you want to be. Really this match goes down to who has the better footies player wise.

Gief in no way beats chun. She doesn’t even need super to beat him, just play keep away. Chun has towards+forward as a poke, and if that hits then u can link c.jab, c.mpxxsuper. she has the infamous s.mp and she can do random s.hp as a poke. She has too many tools to keep gief out.
N-Kyo vs. C-Blanka
I’m having trouble creating openings vs. C-Blanka with my N-Kyo, especially if they’re turtling. Any advice?
Ummm, this is going to sound pretty noob, but what is a “CC”??? plz just post any other abreviations that are like that (you don’t need to explain HP, DP, I’m not that stupid).
against C-blanka poke with far s.roundhouse. Use s.mp to catch some of his pokes, kyo’s s.mp has really good priority. Short jump mk is good, and so is short run s.roundhouse. whiff jab or mp rekka to get in close (rc it). Once u get in, the fun begins:D
But don’t expect to always get in on blanka. If he turtles really well and u can’t get in at all, then just settle for poking with far s.roundhouse and s.mp. Try to gain meter and wear him down as much as u can

While in blockstun, press Towards + MP+MK. You’ll cancel out of your blockstun into a set counterattack, at the cost of 1 super level meter + some of your guard bar. Useful to get out of CCs, or get out of a corner, score a quick knockdown and shift the momentum of the match… Only available in certain grooves. Check an FAQ for more details.
N-Kyo vs. C-Blanka
you can mix it up a little if they’re turtling. like, crouching short a few times, if he blocks that and is just sitting there, you can do small jump -> down fierce while in the air. it’ll knock him down if it hits. after you do it twice, it’ll totally kill blanka’s momentum and will create more openings to get any of kyo’s bread and butters in. Kyo’s really fast, especially with run and small jump(which you have in N-groove) and Blanka is a big target. Use that to your advantage.

kenny… against blanka, you’re not going to be getting close to c. short range… best bet is to play footsies with low forward, standing rh, rc fierce rekka… you have to knock him down or you’ll just die
