Seriously, I doubt capcom will be announcing DiveKick at a Japanese game show. I don’t see the Japanese caring at all for that game.
The game they announce will be something big to them. Darkstalkers is a very likely choice, as is more characters for SF4. Heck, perhaps we will see a new rival schools or something else.
You guys need to remember that the game will have to be something the Japanese will like.
I’ll place my bets on some kind of Arcade version of MvC or SFxT . I really dont see them announcing a really huge game at a place like this.

Timing of events sure it could of been announced during the anniversary meeting, but would that get anyone excited since there was All Star Battle and the anime to contend with?

I would love for that to be true. Especially since they’ve actually restated what they said about SFxT’s failure multiple times.
But when in 4 years, you sell 10 million+ units in the lowest preforming mainstream genre across, just TWO franchises, with less than 9 games, and TWO of which required you to make products from scratch (MVC3 and SFIV), would you stop? I didn’t even count TVC and SFxT.

Dunno why people keep mentioning CvS games, because recently Sven said on ask Capcom anything CvS related is highly unlikely to be re-released or created due to relations between the companies.
From what I’m hearing from my sources, it’s supposedly “not a mainstream title” whatever that means.
