I’ll probably play both.
CFJ may have kind of a rehashed look to it, but as long as it’s fun, which it looks like it’ll be, I’ll play it. I mean, come on, it has freakin’ Anakaris. Hell, even Jedah looks like fun.
NGBC has a few too many teenage punks for my liking (they should have let Kyo and Iori sit this one out in favor of K’ and Terry…make room for weirder people rather than more of the fireball/Shoryuken crowd), but it still looks like fun. If nothing else, I’ll give it a try for the sake of Mr. Big, Shermie (friggin’ YES!) and the man with the pants, the mighty Geese Howard.
Yeah, that explains the current tie. If Capcom cured cancer and solved world hunger forever you’d still be hating on them.
I actually like both. NGBC for its roster, and CFJ for the number of “grooves”(even though each character is exclusive to one : / ).
However, if SNK does release NGBC this year, it may be horribly unbalanced. Remember what happened with SvC? Geese and Zero?
Whereas Capcom has been working on the balance of CFJ for a while. Sure, Jedah may overpower the rest of 'em(from what I heard) but I’m pretty sure he’s not unbeatable.
Also, CFJ and NGBC will both be history lessons to those that don’t play many fighting games…
