Yeah I can bring my copy and a setup for T6.
I can play everyone, so for any character I can give you some basic combos/strats and okizeme to start out with.
The best advice in Tekken is learn how to move your character. There’s Backdash canceling, wavedashing, sidestep canceling and hidashida step. Learning these movements are a vital part of the game and I would suggest atleast 30mins before you practice commands to dedicate to movement.
I’d be down to learn some tekken, but I’m pretty sure it’d just be me and jeff playing.
And since it’s all about frame data I won’t stand a chance 
I can see some of the other guys taking a crack at it, especially the couple that used to play soul calibur.

Learning frames should come when you’re at a competitive level.
^ Yeah I only said that because Kyle is the resident frame data guru in Canton. I’ll probably never bother learning specific frame data.

I actually think that I might too - I never played Tekken before but then again… until Super came out I never played Street Fighter either 
Yeah and for $10 you can’t really go wrong. I just picked up a copy, they had to manually lower the price because the game was already on sale but you should be able to get it for $10 and change.
Im looking to sell my se mad catz 2nd run for $50. I have a ps1 namco for sale but i’m letting that one go for $60 both are in great shape and I can provide pictures for those interested.

Hey, canton players, I’m new to fighters (only experience is Smash Brothers) but I recently picked up SSFIV and like it so far. I plan on getting a stick sometime this week so i can work on execution, read up on some basics for who ever I use (thinking Cammy, Guile, or Dee Jay) and am going to try to get down there for next week’s session.

I will try to bring a ps3/ssf setup. Will there be a bbcs setup, or can someone bring a ps3 copy? I have it for 360.
