Shoutouts to Honkey for still running get togethers and all that. CFC is kind of on hiatus right now, (meaning there is no official gathering places or times) but I encourage you all to continue running sessions and get togethers. I’ve announced my retirement from the scene on our facebook page, but am still considering whether or not it will stick. For now, if you guys want this group to continue, we really need someone to step up as I do not have the money or any other resources to truly advertise our group the way it deserves. There anyone out near the Medina,Oh Area? Been looking for some people to actual play some fighting games with. I literally made this account yesterday so i don’t know nothin about this place. 
I don’t think Canton uses this thread anymore. Every now and then someone posts something, but not often. From what I understand, their Facebook page is a better place to get a hold of people in your area. Just search for Canton fight club on Facebook.
There are also scenes in Cleveland, Cbus, and cincy. I know those are a bit further of a drive than you’re willing to make for casuals, but you might end up traveling there for tournaments.
Cleveland is kinda the farthest i can go to. I saw the Canton at the Fox and Hound so seems like there a venue. but more or less i’m looking for people to hang with but seems i need to start somewhere. thanks though. 
It is true that we more often use the Facebook page, but I do come back and check every once and a while to make sure I don’t miss anyone. Regent, what system do you play on? Even if you can’t come to our (admittedly) sporadic get togethers, you can always play online with one of us. I’m only on psn ssbigdaddy76. There are two CFC Facebook pages, the one that is subtitled (no, not real fighting) or something like that is obsolete. Oh, and we don’t meet at Fox and Hound anymore, there is multiple reasons why, but whatever.
That being said, I have decided against making my retirement permanent. Once I get back to work and start making some bank, I’m going to really be focusing on getting this group back on track, so Regent, make sure you keep an eye out.
I refuse to get a facebook page, can I get some basic information in here? I’d use old postings but they’re rather dated and potentially unreliable.
I’m trying to get online but that’s harder then i realized for some reason. 
But i did go to the console combat at the Fox and Hound and it was pretty good. i had to bail out before the UMVC3 Tournament due to issues at home but otherwise a great time in my opinion. And you don’t have to get a FB page. Just save the Console Combats page on Facebook to your favorites to see any new information and check back regularly.
So it’s a monthly then? Is it always at this Fox and Hound place? I found the information on their website but it would be nice to talk to someone who is a person.
There isn’t a lot of information right this second. HOWEVER! We have just lined up a new venue for us to meet up at. If you don’t want to make a facebook, it’s cool, with things getting back into full swing, I’ll be checking things here more often. We’re going to be meeting at the Auricle in Canton, we just need people to vote on which day works best for them! Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. Vote here and I’ll add it to the tally.
