We are back for a thankful Console Combat. Gobble Gobble. Introducing the tablet tournaments! The person running the tournaments will be walking around with a new tablet to help propagate tournaments.
$5 Venue Fee + free entry to our raffles. Last week we gave away a free game, 1600 MS points and a free meal.

Yo, Canton, what’s goin on?
So, I’ve been quite busy the past few months, hence my extended absence. School has been kicking my butt this semester, but more importantly, my wife and I are expecting our first child in April! I’ve had to attend quite a few Dr.'s appointments etc. etc. Anyways, we are both very excited!
I picked up UMVC3, and I’m actually really really enjoying it. I suck terribly, but I actually have a very strong will to learn this game now. This is probably the first time since SF4 that I’ve felt like that about a fighting game. So …who else is playing, and what teams are you rolling? I’m using Ghost Rider/Dorm/Doom right now.
Expect to see me around during winter break (2 more weeks!). That is, if I’m still welcome round these parts :P.

ROFL I of course am playing tonight! Coming straight from work actually. Hope everyone is ready to get their KoF on as I’ll probably be playing MOSTLY that, then SFIV, and probably little to no uMvC3 (I don’t have it yet, so it’d be silly for me to play it a lot for now).
Matt, of course you’re still welcome. For now we’re meeting at Kyle’s house, but I have a very good feeling we’ll be picking up and moving our venue to the Tilted Kilt come January or February. It’ll be a good time! Congrats on the kid, it’s a good thing you already went home to be a family man (groan). Glad to be in touch with you again!
