I just preged for the cleveland tourney, but depending on my work schedule i may have to work if nobody will cover for me. Also will anybody be willing to house me the 16th so i dont need to drive like 3 hours to cleveland that morning

Alright! Listen up. This Thursday, we are having both SSFIV and MvC3 tourneys. I need AT LEAST four tvs, (no lag), two for tournament play, the other two for casuals. Any more than that is gravy. These are winner take all $1 tourney. That means if you win, you get the entire pot. I would like to get to the point where we have a monthly $10 tourney but I don’t have enough connections to generate buzz atm. Also as mentioned previously, the YouTube page is up (link below), as well as a t-shirt store. I do get kickbacks for the shirts but 100% of it is going back to the fight club. There are currently only two designs on there (both are admittedly horrendous), but I am taking design ideas.(or suggestions to a better site.) Also, when the ads go up on YouTube click click click away, these again will all generate funding so I can better serve our humble club.
Outside of that, still kicking around ideas for a revamped site for us. And lastly if you DO want to donate to kickstart us on our way to stream equipment, please do not be shy. This however will be the first and only time I mention it so please do NOT feel obligated.

For those of you playing MK9, we will be running a 5v5 team exhibition at Powerup. One of the teams will be an Ohio team comprised of two VIP players (selected by me) and three qualifiers, one from each city; Columbus, Cleveland, and Cincinnati.
I’m grouping you guys with Cleveland, so if there’s someone (or multiple people) from your group that would like to compete, please let me know and we’ll figure out a way to have you guys play the Cleveland winner for the spot.

Hey guys, sorry about bailing last night. I do hope everyone had a good time though, and will not be missing again! BTW, we are NOT meeting on the 21st due to a scheduling conflict. If anyone wants to run something auxiliary that week post it up.(my place is too small so I can’t.)
It was all good that you didn’t show up. Actually a couple people came looking for you. A guy from Gamestop and the other Dustin came lol We did have a slight monitor issue at first, but once Kyle came we were okay. It was cool we had a new guy Chris came, which means people are checking out SRK for this stuff. Jeff needs to change the opening page on our thread about the location/date/time. FU perkins. Also the issue about people not paying for stuff has come up again. I had to buy fat kids their chips last night, you wouldn’t think it was much but it was over $4. We should make an announcement next time about this. I also have the idea of making flyers again for the GameStops and Exchange in Belden, maybe Best Buy ? I feel like this will also help get more and more people to come.
It was a good time for the hour I got to play (Canton has an early bedtime) although I wasn’t a fan of facing O. Sentinel since Kyle’s xbox hadn’t been patched. It seems like a good venue, but it’s kinda fucked up if people are paying for their own stuff. I’ll try to make it out again next week.
