That sounds awesome, unfortunately I work Thursday nights but if I ever get a random one off I’ll be sure to stop down. Over 21 kinda sucks for the young’ns.

All of that seems correct Jeff. Best as I can tell anyways. Now, I’ve already heard a complaint from one of the youngins about the 9pm policy. I have three things to say about the issue.1) while there are people in our group that are under 21 they are in the minority, and going on their 21st birthday.2) let’s be honest here. EVERY venue that sells alcohol of any kind has this same rule and it was never an issue. Also I’d like to point out that if they find our presence beneficial, they WILL look the other way.3) if this is really such a deal breaker for you, then find a better venue on your own. I’ve been literally working on finding us a new place for months and this is the only place that allow us to do it FREE OF CHARGE.
The only person the 21 and over rule will affect long term is Dylan. And who knows if he’s coming anymore. Some months ago we asked people to step up to the plate and take charge of our club and the only ones that did were myself, Jeff and Kyle. Kyle has been graciously allowing us to play at his place and I’m sure he doesn’t mind, but the fact of the matter is, we can’t grow our community at kyles house. If you look at the pros and cons here, I feel you’d have a hard time saying this isn’t the best thing for our group.

ya man… i tried really hard in cleveland to find a venue that will let us do our thing. i finally settled on mccarthys downtown. they were tenative at first… but we have 50 plus people showing up and buying food… so they are happy with us now. its tough man…

Time: Check in is 11-12 am, SSF4 1230 pm sharp, MVC3 130 pm sharp, Arcana Heart (details coming soon)
Games (XBOX 360): SSF4 ($15), MVC3 ($10), Arcana Heart ($10), and MK9 (possibly… its in the works)
Set-Up: All games will be played on XBOX 360. Tubes/CRT’s and evo approved moniters will be used.
There is a $10 venue fee for all players who enter an event.

Following up on Ailerus’ post; want to let everyone know that PowerUp 2011 pre-registration is now mandatory. If you don’t pre-register you won’t be allowed to play in official PU2011 tournaments. We’re doing this so brackets can be made and posted pre-event, making things run smoother for everyone. Hope to see you all there!

The Fox & Hound is now starting up on Thursday the 31st. We will meet there at 5. Big D wants to have some sort of tournament for Marvel I think so try to spread some news around. I do want to revive poor CFC. SPREAD THE WORD. I will get more info and post it on here as I find out.

I will be running a tourney for MvC3. Free to enter. That is FREE.
What’s the point? First place will receive a MvC3 poster, and bragging rights for winning our first tourney.
Get the word out, I’d like to see at least 15 to 20 people as they will be evaluating if this is a worthwhile venture for them as well. Bring friends, family, strangers… I don’t care. Let’s make this the place to be!
Anyone that wants to help make posters and such for any upcoming events, let me, Jeff, or Kyle know. I have some big plans so let me know what you’re thinking too. For anyone interested we will run ANY game you want. Just know that YOU are in charge of anything you bring. No one, including Fox and Hound is responsible for anything lost or stolen.

I got 3-5 civilians coming and one possible new player. Guys… I need a head count. Whos going? How many have u invited? We need 15-20 people to make our first night a success. Don’t let this slip through just because we couldn’t get organized enough to bring a couple people. Post if youre coming and how many your bringing. Northwestians grab your buds and just tell them to come out. Same with everyone else. Playing or not, tell them to say they are there with the Canton fight club.
