Yeaa everyone was recovering from the weekend so there wasn’t a full house, but its all good. Jeff I heard were fighting streets on the weekends now?
I was pretty free all weekend… but I expected that. No way I had a chance in my bracket with Inthul, Gootecks, Dieminion, and Lud. Oh well, back to the grind. Marlin Pie has inspired me to start working on my Cammy again… he was looking sick against Juicebox.
wanted to make it out last night but I had to take care of some family stuff…
If Jeff was still hosting some time on the weekend I would definately try to make it out to that. congrats on getting the place and the new job also Jeff.
how’d everyone do at beatings? I watched some of the stream, epic.
I did as well as I thought I would do…everybody else feels like they did terrible, though. I’ve just played competitive vidya games forever so I know to never think you’re even close to good because you’ll just set yourself up for disappointment…you just gotta always strive to level up until OTHER people start telling you you’re good 
I won a match vs autodemon (a well-known akuma, i guess), beat some sagat/adon,lost to ryder on the stream, then lost to the guy that produced the visuals for the event and I dont even think plays sf4 
What up kids. Yeah I went 2-2 at sb but I didn’t expect to do much better. Truth be told I’m just happy to have a win under my belt. I’m thinking about changing up my character as well but Kyle already took all of the cool characters :sad:
As for sf on the weekends, I’m going to try to have some people over on Saturday mornings. Probably not this weekend but maybe next. I get the keys to the new place then so if anyone wants to come over and help me carry furniture up some steps I’ll be down to get a pizza or some shit and we can do some games. Normally I’ll be shooting for the morning on Saturday for games but if any of you want to help me move then the afternoon would be cool for next Saturday. So PM or text me and let me know if you’re in.

on the bright side im playing t hawk again. or is that a bad thing?
I went 2-2, losing to the same beastly ryu in winners AND losers. But, the second time around it came down to the last round of the final match, so it was a moral victory for me in a way. Other than that, I played casuals with many great players during the weekend, and amassed a 13 fight streak on a station at one point, which included wins over Gootecks and a Zangief from Chicago that trains with Floe, who was on a large streak when I beat him. Again, moral victories :).
Welllll Im playing ryu and working on my zoning game sooo you have some bad timing, but I’m happy for you, haha.
I played like crap and was uber sick but still had a great time during the matches and watching everyone else - if you guys get a few minutes check out the seasons beatings thread - all these kids do is whine. Some 600 people show up and have a ball all weekend, then go home and internet bitch come Monday. It’s bugging me
