I don’t really have a proven solution, but I suffer from the same issue. I’ve learned that the finish on the controls makes a difference. Gloss finish feels nice, but makes my hands sweat like crazy. Matte finish seems to work better for my pad use, but I play stick. Maybe switching the ball on your joystick with a matte one would help. I play on a happ ultimate, and enjoy the feel of the finish on that. I’d suggest gloves, but that really only helps for tablet hand on osu!. If you are playing pad, I honestly have no clue how to fix that. I don’t think PlayStation makes different finish options like Xbox does, which is a bummer because options are good. Maybe you should set up a fan to cool off your hands.
Literally the best way to get rid of sweaty hands is to wash them. If you are at home, its easy to take a break and wash em real fast. If you are at a tournament, you should probably be washing them for hygiene reasons anyways.
I’m surprised no one has suggested wearing gloves. It won’t stop your hands from sweating, but your grip on the controls won’t deteriorate over time. Some thin gloves with a rubber ‘grip’ lining on the underside will give you great grip.

I don’t even sweat that crazy when it’s hot outside, so I pretty much never experience this.
Makes me wonder if you also have this issue when typing things on a keyboard.
