It took a LITTLE longer, but the closer hotel is much nicer and I got them to match the crummier, further away hotelās price of $109 a night + taxes, blah blah blah.
The rooms also provide parking. It may sound like not a big deal, but in downtown Calgary parking spots are like gold. People will fight, lie and kill for them on a bad day.
Iāve asked them to have the room rate available for people booking with Canada Cup Gaming. Iāve JUST responded to our sales lady, so you may want to give it until mid-morning early afternoon to place your reservations.

Then itāll be a free-for-all BYOC for people to jam on all weekend! so donāt forget to bring them.
We have a safe room (locked and secure) that you can leave your system in if you donāt feel like bringing it home on saturday night.
I was interested in entering umvc3, however I play on a ps3 pad , I was wondering if I entered I could play my matches on a ps3, and I would be willing to bring a flat screen tv and my own ps3 to accomadate for this.
Talk to people in the Calgary thread. Someone could bring you a Xbox pad converter.
