I just want the easiest dual mod possible lol. I was interested in the hub idea cause i already have a cthulhu board i’m not using, but I don’t think i could handle soldering the wire to the buttons, I had a stick with soldered button switches and it was hell to work on, but the person who did it used a few short wires lol.

There’s a solderless trick you can do using the quick disconnects to connect the wires to the button’s place if that’s only thing that’s really putting you off. The Cthulu has those screw in terminals too…
How does it detect the hub if the hub isn’t plugged in to be powered on?
This idea works.
I have a Stick that has one of these in it.

It plugs into the back of the Neutrik and then I have my PCB and a thumb drive plugged into it.
The thumb drive is loaded up with an emulator and a folder full of games.
Comes in handy as a portable arcade.
You can usually order RJ45 system cables from SRK member to use with Kitty. Looks like all you want is USB, so all you need is a USB system cable. But you can get more if you want more systems to play on later.
Where did you buy that? I need one for the exact same thing you are doing and 2 for my stupid Macbook pro cause they only put on 2 usb ports.
Mine looks almost identical to that one, but I got it off of eBay for dirt cheap.
I might still attempt this mod, with another stick. Do you guys think all this can fit in an SE? Chtulhu board, HUB, and a USB memory stick for roms on the go, like d3v suggested.
But for my TE, I think the Kitty is the way to go. Toodles is always around to ask for help, and so is JDM! And the guides darksakul and toodles have are pretty thorough .
