I’m simply calling it down the middle. I’m a Christian who views both Jews and Muslims as brothers of the same faith, but neither the Palestinians or Jews are blameless in this conflict.
Hamas and Israel are both guilty of killing innocent civilians, but you can’t argue that Palestinian civilians haven’t gotten it way worse.

No one said they were completely blameless.

I sometimes wonder about attacks such as suicide bombings and such as having their back up against the wall and this is the only way to defend themselves since they don’t have the arms the Israeli’s do. I’m sure to truly understand you would have to be there, since media gets slanted. We are allies with Israel so our media is gonna point out more of Hamas’s(and other similar groups from the Palestinian side) doings more so than the Israeli army and what they are doing in the Gaza Strip.

Sad stuff all around.

The articles I’ve read from the news papers here (WA) and the stuff I catch on TV (when I’m around one) never seemed to hate Israel. Criticize sure, but never put on full blast.

Probably gonna google some articles but coming from our leftist media side does seems pretty baffling.

Until the flotilla attack, when has the US media EVER criticized Israel?

And even with the flotilla attack, despite worldwide condemnation, in the US the negative press got swept under the rug EXTREMELY quickly and Helen Thomas got sacked.
Even most Americans who even heard the story still assume that most of the flotilla volunteers were “terrorists”.

In Europe, most media side with Palestinians, mostly because it seems more correct to go with the weak. I’m not rooting for anyone. I think that both sides are very guilty, always fucking with the other and giving them a reason to retaliate. Israel abuses its superior strength, but on the other hand Palestine plays the victim while trying to fuck Israel.

This is a very popular pic among Palestine defenders. I think the last map is exaggerated in how much white it paints, but I don’t know. Israel is constantly colonizing and un-colonizing parts of Palestina, as well as entering and un-entering with their troops to search for terrorists. It does serve to understand how Palestinians feel, though.

Well, the Gaza strip is a place where 1.5 million people are condensed. Only 10% of the water is safe to drink, and 80% of the country relies on foreign aid for survival. I don’t have all of the facts on the top of my head, but one of my good friends who grew up in Palestine (West Bank), I asked him if he had ever been to Gaza. He told me that he doesn’t want to die.
