i havent got the chance to use it yet… im playing with it in training mode tho… looking for what moves i can anticipate with counter c.HP… once i come up with a solid strategy i will probably start using it in a live match…
If you time it right you can juggle opponent’s with the last few hits of her ultra if they jump back, I sometimes throw it out there if theres only a few hits left and they jump backwards (and hope for the best )
Does anyone know the situation required for spiral arrow when used as an anti-air to reset the opponent instead of knocking them down, seems to me its only the HK and Ex versions and they have to be basically on top of you, is that about it? Wondering if its worth looking into more as I always find it pretty useful when it happens as you’re in the perfect position to throw them when they reset.
Quick question and i’m sure it’s been discussed before, but what are some ways to combo into ultra for Cammy besides canceling?.. I really suck at it as of right now and know I need it in her arsenal to be good with her.
For the time being though besides SBF into ultra, focus dash back or forward to ultra & meat jump ins to ultra… Is there anything else? Even if it’s a long shot way to do it, I’m up for whatever some of you have come up with…
Didn’t see this mentioned anywhere, so I’ll hopefully not be repeating it.
You can go from crouching directly to canon spike (no standing ever) with
:df: :d: :df: + :k:
I prefer this to crouching HP against hurricane kicks, since I get all the FADC combo goodness.
lol old news, but whatever. While most FAs have crap priority once they’re coming out and are horrible on whiff (Thus making CH fishing with them bloody risky), Cammy’s might have some application given that it goes over lows fairly well. It’s definitely worth testing and playing around with imho.
Did you guys know you could cancel the first hit of Cammy’s spin knuckle into her Super? Someone did it to me in a mirror match online and I was so surprised, went straight into training mode to test it, had no idea
Yeah theres a difference in the input. You can do the ex cannon strike in any direction, so jumping forward, upwards or back, so the input for that can go: :d: :db: :l: :ub: + :mk: + :hk: but the regular cannon strike has to be done going forward do you have to do: :d: :db: :l: :uf: + :hk:
I was playing yesterday in a semifinal G2 and starting the third round I noticed that I had full meter so I’m like “by hell I’m going to do it even if it kills me”. I threw out 8 random SBF and ate punishment each time though not enough to kill me (he wasn’t terribly good or I’d never try in the first place). He was showing focus on wakeup so I ulted him and went back to SBF. Three more SBF later I land it and cancel into super for the win. I was all “BOOOOM, ROASTED!”
I wish I could have seen that WetWookie, I’m not brave enough to try knuckle to super ever
So I just realised you can do close HP into crouch lk->spiral arrow. I knew it worked off crouch HP but not close. I’m going to try using it as close HP is probably my favourite normal she has and its a lot easier to do crouch lk->spiral arrow on reaction to a hit than linking straight into the arrow and hoping it hit. And also realised you can stick crouch lk->spiral arrow after a crouch MP too, I like crouch LK, you can link it off lots of normals!
90 percent chance u will stuff it but if that fist hits u…its on…get ready for that ride…TKCS also stuffs giefs Ultra and hooligan laser slide…and the actual hooligan itself beats el fuertes ultra
Would like some help from the Cammy board in trying to get SSF4 to add speed into their gameplay. My basic argument is that big characters should not be faster/or as fast as us pixie characters =P
