I haven’t played the Cammy mirror in a while either. I’d say that’s my best matchup, but I’ve never been taxed up that hard. Ambiguous dive kicks were eating me up.

I can’t believe I lost a round in that last match to reversal EX SBF. That must be karma for me trashing EX SBF in some thread around here months ago. I assumed that you knew that I knew that I could just wait and hit you out of it with whatever, so I didn’t think you’d do it and went for CSpike chip win.

I won’t make that mistake again.

im learning the cammy mirror too (one of my “personal” worst matchups) :rofl:,

its fun stuffing reversal cannon spike :shy:

at least i got the following down:

  • SA punish (max damage, depending on how its spaced)
  • CS punish, on whiff, and on block
  • HK SA knockdown followup (1 setup for long combos and bnbs, another specific for cl.hp/c.mk into hk sa)
  • backthrow followup
  • how to deal with strike pressure :confused: :rofl: (i find it harder than rufus i have no idea why :confused:)

lol…i firmly believe that cstrike pressure is my strongest trait with cammy. i have a firm understanding of where she will land and know how to get into peoples heads with it.

as far as the ex.sbf…it was the risk vs the reward for me. i had almost no life at that time and you had that look like you just wanted to finish me off with chip. i could have just blocked and let you kill me or react on the read that you would go for chip. if i just blocked, you could have done anything at that point and me attacking on wakeup would be suicide. lol i went to my best option and it worked out. :slight_smile:

i use ex.sbf as my secret get out of jail free yard very minimally. i never want my opponent to expect it and just punish it.

props on your blocking though. i tried so hard to force you into situations that you would want to hit a button and you never did. lol

I really hate Cammy mirrors. The Cammy who gets rushed down the hardest seemingly looses. I think what annoys me the most about it is how much my own tricks work against me. I get put on autopilot defensively when I’m pressured (start crouch teching) and get destroyed.

I fucking hate Cammy. Nerf TKCS now. Oh wait, wrong thread. sry.
