Firstly I will start by saying that the game is decently balanced there r still a few things that need changes but for the most part it’s ok. As for the longevity of the game im not 2 sure, right now I feel like the game is relying on the CPT a lot and Capcom cannot afford to keep supporting it like they have been this year, even Ono said he hopes that the CPT will b able to support itself. So my question is that if there isnt as much money in the game as there is right now will people still play it?

It’s no secret that this game isnt selling all that well and I think the ship of Capcom bringing in the casual market has sailed this is mainly because of how poor the game was at release, hell there r still things that need 2 be fixed so we are looking at a situation right now where if the CPT cannot sustain itself I don’t kno if the game will remain active

Straight f.HK hits meaty in the corner. So it’s also an option if the opponent quick rise. It’s negative on block, but it’s a guaranteed hit confirm for big damage.

After f.HK, if he doesn’t quick rise, whiff c.mp and go for s.lk, s.mp, c.mp or plinked throw. All are meaty.

St lk was already +1 on block? It’s the push back that would matter with that move imo.

nerfed on block, so does that mean it’s punishable on block then as it was already -2? He isn’t telling us much here and seems ambiguous in his follow up questions.

Depends on advantage after hit. If we v-reversal and it hits but we are plus this could be beneficial over the knockdown.

The biggest concern I have right now is no invincible cannon spike except for EX. She’ll have to jump every meaty command grab if she doesn’t have meter I guess making gief and birder matchups even harder as they’ll know all we can do is jump or eat the grab free. Does that also mean they removed the crush counter for it now that it’s not invincible? If not I don’t see why you’d ever use it.

K-Brad said Cammys divekicks feel more + now Myers the opposit. Wonder what’s true.

K-Brad also said Cammy got a buff he always wanted for her (overhead? Bigger TnA?), but didn’t say what it is.
My hopes for an airthrow shrink with every day.

Also wondering if her cs will have upperbody invincibility from the 1st frame(against air attacks), or 1st ACTIVE frame. If it is like Juri her mk dp then doing a deep cs would be impossible.

EX dp as a reversal is pretty ass, it has absolutely no range, her vskill is safe now, guessing Capcom want people to use it more now.

Wonder if her vskill remained the same.

The divekick changes are wierd, but we’ll se how it goes in practice.

Honestly as long as we still have cr.mk, cr.hp, st.hp, and her st.lk->cr.lp/lk->st.lp, I think we’ll be ok. Just a shame that we may lose divekick tool but ya we will see.

Man I hope that is what Kbrad was eluding too. Kind of a dick move not saying what it was though. I’d even go for cr hp CC like in the beta.

I don’t think dive kick was changed (why too many confused people on that and there has been a lot of trolling going on). As is now it’s the same as what Chun just got with the IALL nerf -2 on block. If they made it more negative it would be useless as there is no way to be 100% with it unless they made it faster to whiff punish. With so many specials that can be placed to be safe I doubt they make this punishable but we shall see.

You forgot cr mp. She relies on that 5 frame medium punch a lot in this game. If they made that even 6 frames it would change a lot of her pressure.

I can only assume they decided they need to change some more things after hearing from people yesterday. I really wish they’d just post the notes and say these are subject to change up until the patch but this is what we are thinking.

Hopefully those hitbox changes they were talking about mean a much improved cr mk

what are cammy best buttons in footsies ?

Depends on range and what character you are facing, but it usually goes cr mp, st mp, cr mk, st hp, cr hp, st hk the farther away you get. For example against Karin I’m standing just outside of her mk range and poking with cr mp to catch the mk. With Ryu I’m right outside his cr mk range doing the same with a few cr mk/st mk sprinkled in to bait the sweep. Against Gief I’m standing outside his jab range with st hp/st hk trying to bait the charge punch or jump in. Against most of the cast cr mk buffered in the neutral is a solid poke if you see them walking forward. I also like st hp buffered on wake up right outside of it’s max range. It catches a lot of wake up buttons since they think you are too far to meaty.
