Seems like they start to wake up on her.

I hear ya… I have problems still with half the cast, and I’m trying to make my practice sessions count. I actually haven’t seen very many local Nash players in Osaka. I’ve seen Lauras, Kens, Mikas and a few Zangiefs, though.

I think with Nash, my main issues are avoiding his optimal distances to do scythe, dealing with runaway/sonic boom tactics, dealing with V-Trigger, and leaving myself open and getting hit with his CA. I would say that Mika, Ken and Nash are the hardest matchups for me.

KBrad won two tournaments. One in Canada as well, although it was questionable because Justin Wong and Ricki Ortiz did not use their main characters in that tournament.

That wasn’t a CPT event so it was good opportunity for Justin and Ricky to try new characters in a tournament setting.
K-Brad wasn’t happy either though, he want’s to beat Justin when he’s using Karin.

The British blonde is moving up in the world. Congrats 2 Kbrad and Kazunoko.

It is very possible with this character let’s all keep at it guys and girls

It’s always possible with Cammy. She isn’t a bad character. She steamrolls quite a few characters.

Cammy is an uphill battle vs Ryu, Nash, Chun and Karin…and those are 4 very popular, very common characters.

Birdie, imo, is still her only ā€œbadā€ match. But those 4 are definitely not easy.

I’d add Ken to that list. I feel like this is only because against those particular characters you have to play differently in a less than optimal way (less pressure, less damaging frame traps or harder to confirm punishes). Obviously against Shotos we have to stop momentum sometimes to not eat a DP, so meatys aren’t as reliable against them. Against Nash you have to deal with the constant fast pace in and out strategy that beats her mobility plus his longer pokes. Against Chun you have to deal with her better neutral buttons and dive kick on top of having an equal 3 frame jab and better walk speed. Against Karin the neutral is pretty 50/50 depending upon button pressed and distance in the neutral but punishing her is just awkward sometimes. Like her Ressenha (the two handed over head jump thing) has 3 different recovery timings that aren’t always the easiest to confirm which one used. The fastest recovery is -4 which gives you time for a jab or b+mp but the distance can vary which limits options as if you whiff her follow up move can hit you instead.

P.S. What happened to my avatar? It just changed to this face by itself.

I think the Nash matchup is just fine for Cammy. The lack of wakeup options on Nash makes her offensive momentum that much better.

Also I’m curious about something. How much do yall use s.LK? I don’t ever use it tbh. It doesn’t combo into anything and she has better buttons for footsies.

It’s really nice for tick throws since it has barely any pushback. As soon as your opponent starts teching after your st lk, you can start doing st lk, cr lp (3f counter hit trap), st mp, cr mk, mk SA to really make your enemy be scared of pushing buttons. The cr mk might miss though, so be wary of that.

It’s also fun to use to poke enemies that are living by a magic pixel. People always flinch at the sight of that leg.

st lk is a good button to use at close range due to it having very little push back and an extended hit box over hurt box. It’s great for a tick throw as jab will push you out of grab range where as st lk won’t. So if your opponent gets used to jab small walk forward throw you can adjust the timing to st lk instant grab to mess with their delay teching.

That Cobelcog tactic. Or like I call it: The pleb’s Lighting Legs.

What if you just don’t do a followup for ex dive and

When you factor in backroll guessing and the use of vreversal against setups that cover both quick rises, you’ll realize there’s actually no good way to stay on a Nash who mixes up their recovery

With Kazunoko winning pretty much the hardest tournament in Japan and now Xiao Hai going undefeated against some of the best players of the world I guess its enough to people to stop whinning about Cammy.
I mean, Cammy players should stop complaining… the guys that face her can complain all they want heh

Btw, does anyone have footage of all of the 7 matches of Xiao Hai from the U-League?

EDIT: Nevermind, https://www.youtube.com/user/KarinSF4 is already flooded with footage of the league. I’m only missing the match of Xiao Hai vs DouyuTV|Hurtch VR.

Around 2am last night I accidentally stumbled upon a game breaking exploit with SFV on PC that is super easy to do and requires no third party software. I’ve done some searching online and no one has seemed to have mentioned how to do it yet, so I don’t think I’m going to post what it is out of fear that it will be used. I despise cheating/rage quitting/scripting of any kind so it’s not something I want to get out there if it’s not already, but should I bring it up so the community is aware of it or is just letting Capcom know enough? To me it’s worse than an infinite and so bad that the game could be made unplayable in it’s current state if this gets abused. I’ve sent a direct response to Capcom support already and can only hope they can fix it, but after figuring this out I’m really starting to lose hope for this game. Sorry for the secretive post, but this totally bummed me out.

Hm, is this related to ranked matches? Another ragequitting exploit or something?
Fight Money related?
Hard to know which is the right move to make when we don’t know which area it affects.

If its something fight money related I’d say its better to reach to them first as it can harm their income.
If its something related to a exploit of a ranked match just tell everyone. Ranks doesn’t matter anyway and the only way to play this game with relatively peace is by playing Battle Lounges with your friends.
You also need to consider what are the chances of someone else discovering it too, and what would be the consequences of that.

Damn, its so hard figuring out the solution for a problem that you don’t even know heh

Try to get a hold of Haunts. He’s been active on Reddit, and I think he would be the guy who would be guaranteed to relay the info to Capcom.

No we should not stop whinning about Cammy.
If the FGC teached me one thing, then is it to cry as much as you can to get nerfs/buffs.

Give her a overhead and give her a airthrow
Capcom already gave her the ability to store stuff in her butt.

Cammy is better than most of the cast, and has very few bad matchups. I’m cool with that.

OK WTF IS THIS

Its an exploit regarding net play so it won’t effect local matches, but it basically destroys any online game. I tested it on a buddy and he said he could literally do nothing. I don’t want to be too specific as it may lead some to start testing ideas. To me this is worse than the auto block gems of SFxT and we all know what happened when they dropped those. This is just going to frustrate people to the point where they won’t want to play or you’ll be forced to play your friends in battle lounge which is limiting for a lot of people who don’t have a scene locally.

Haunts said on reddit to send a support ticket to capcom unity so I sent it there (which sadly goes down tomorrow so who knows if it will get lost in the shuffle). Hopefully they can address it but I’m afraid this is locked into the code so there isn’t much they can do. From what I can tell they would need to rewrite the net code to stop this. Who knows they might do it. Considering they left the store to the pros maybe they’ll switch their network over to steam/PSN instead as well once they realize they have no idea what they are doing when it comes to this.
