Are there certain chars. that falls faster when you hit them with a cannon drill in an ac? Cuz sometime they just fall too fast before I can cancel into KBA and nail them.
um no they fall at the same length of time
Yes, I believe larger characters fall faster but it still should not effect the combo at all if you cancel into the KBA a second after the HK cannon drill hits, if you miss you should practice more to get the timing correctly.

I believe Fireboy is right. I remember having alot of problems with characters and their falling rates. Tho a Cannon drillXXkba should work on everyone… even that goddamn bloody kobun

I think, in a game like mvc2, counters are too impractical for the fast pace games… also the damn counter is hard as hell to connect with.
I do that combo alot. I get it about 70 percent of the time. The trick is to throw the character the other direction tap lk imidietly after the throw (not during the throw, cammy can attack immiedietly once the throw is complete) cancel into fk-cd or throw. Getting the lk to connect is extremly difficult on smaller opponents but it can be done.
You really can’t post the timing but just know that cammy can attack immidietly after the throw animation is complete.
okay i need some help with cammy: So first off, how do you do the OTG off her air throw? I see people do an air throw on me and then otg with a c. lk. i try to do that and fail. is there a fiming to it?

i’m basically having trouble playing her. I mean, i dash in, poke with a c. lk, and if they bite, i launch.
otherwise, if they block i really don’t know what to do. i call out an assist and jump over and try and cross up. aside from that, how do i do a good cammy rush down. i’m thinking i could just try and dash in and then straight up throw, but can i combo an ac after that?
basically, what do i do if they block low all day, seeing as how i can’t triangle jump or anything
Also, how do you punish her qcb + kick in the air? her recovery on that is pretty good.

Cammy’s attacks beat out alot of other characters attacks. Peeple under estimate her speed. She can launch any charachter after you bock their fierce attacks. Use this to your advantage. Your right that she can’t triangle jump, so you need to use her attacks that have almost no delay to bait your opponent into thinking they can combo you, then you counter with her speed.
Your stradegy of jumping over opponents and such while calling assists is basically what alot of cammy players do.
I like to jump up and do qcb-lk (this move has little to no stun, not enev magneto can punish it 100%),more than likly the opponent will block it, then I immidietly block, thinking thier gonna try to launch me then counter with my own launch or attack immidietly to beat out their counter attack.
When I play Sent/Cammy and Cammy is forced to fight, I tend to call sent(drones) tiger knee cannon drill(harder to punish and has les delay) over my opponent then when I land on the other side immidietly block because if they try to attack the drones with hit then I can launch them. This is one of my tactics with Cammy. She can be really deadly behind a good assist.
I think she works best with assists tha tie your opponent up forcing them to sit still whil you move in close.

Oh, and about comboing after the air throw, you have to do the throw with fp. Also don’t always look for it because it depends on how your opponent lands and where your positiond to wether you can otg. Just always go for it after you air throw someone with fp. Sometimes you’ll get it sometimes you won’t, just don’t alwasy expect it.

just do the whole magic series when launching normally this way:
first lp . lk ( fast ) segond lp , lk ( slow) this will low your altitude and setting the air throw easily and when launching by otg do lp
lk lp ( semi-slow) and air throw height shoud be set up nicely
s if you gotother ways to set up air throws with cammy think of this as a mix up way to land them.
Throw Combo!
c.HP, SJ lp,s,lp, throw, land, s(OTG), c.HP repeat…only can be done twice. (usually teched anyways…
you can usually get people with Cammy’s rolling air thing and throw them and OTG them…and then Launch
or another is… c.s, c.HP, SJ throw, repeat then air combo
(on big characters) after the air throw… you can do two shorts, you’ll land before them and SJ and throw them and do the OTG…i believe only on big characters only… not sure…
or if you know they are going to jump above you just do a SJ and throw them (this is fast timing but its unexpected and usually they won’t roll out of it…
Alright a couple quick Cammy things Ive noticed:
-After the basic KBA combo, the first time almost everyone rolls when they hit the ground, so instead of dash in, relaunch, do something like dash back, c.lk, c.hp, /\ AC or wait, dash back c.lk+assist(Sent A works too well), c. lk to cross them up.
-KBA combo does good damage, but Cammy can really get owned if she backs down so mindgames after the KBA combo are important, you need to anticipate if they will roll or not and decide what to do from there. With good mindgames and a couple meters and a good assist, Cammy can do one hit death type stuff.
-After a Sent A hit you can do shit like sj. hk drill XX KBA, does good damage. Or after Sent hits you can do Dash under Upward super.
-Her dash is really fast, and you need to use it to constantly pressure the other person, with stuff like random low shorts while calling assists and then going for the crossup or something.
Just some quick observations.
