Oh, I was talking about the Chun video. But holy crap, I didn’t know you could FA out of Hooligan! Time for some training mode tonight!

:DD. I made it reeeeeeealy compressed so I could get it up fast. My internet is a little funky sometimes and it randomly cuts off.
I really hope this helps you guys somehow, because Cammy is the only character in Street Fighter I really enjoy. I experiment with Balrog, Rufus, Blanka, Sakura, but none of them are as satisfying as Cammy. I can’t wait for Marvel vs. Capcom tomorrow too, Cammy is so fun in that game.
Sorry I’m starting to babble. I hope this helps you guys
(Ignore that Brawl video I have up, that was a friendly from before I got a capture card. It’s a joke match. Don’t judge me xD)
If you look closely, Cammy glows yellow. It’s an ex cancel. So there’s no armor… it’s a good move to dash cancel out of though. Saves you from eating a DP. If you notice it required you to have 2 ex meters stocked to use the attack. I didn’t know you could cancel the hooligan though, interesting stuff.
It’s pretty normal. -_-; Not a glitch or anything. All you’re doing is ex.FA off a hit like any other special move.
Some new combo’s i haven’t seen anyone use:rock:
Jump in/strike
:lk:,:lp:>:lk: xx :lk: canon spike
:hp:>:lk: xx :hk: spiral arrow
well here’s me just dicking around in training mode. nothing spectacular, just practicing some combo’s and block strings. enjoy!

don’t know if it has already been mentioned, but I haven’t seen it in the first post so…
you can do cr.HP > link to super (510 dmg), works easily from cr.HP max range too
and even better… CH cr.HP into ultra! does 570 dmg with full revenge meter.
I thought it was not pratical at first, but hitconfirming the counterhit is pretty easy and I’ve landed a lot of this in actual matches.
No wait, the second is extremely interesting. How did u do it?
What does CH mean?
ch probably means up close.
i will have to try that c.hp to super. i’ve tried the cl c.hp>ultra before. i know you can land the ultra if it’s a counter hit or if your really upclose but the timming is really strict. it’s kinda like the spinning back-hand to ultra combo. i wouldn’t pull it off in a actual match though IMO
it means CounterHit
you hit cr.HP, start buffering qcf*2, see the “counterhit” message, press KKK
bingo.
I have been trying to work this shit into my game for MONTHS and I have been pretty unsuccessful. the ONLY situation where I think it can work is against bison when youre in the corner and he keeps doing scissors/s.rh to keep you locked down. if you predict that he is going to press s.rh, you can c.hp that and buffer while looking for a CH to land ultra. No matter how you slice it, its kind of a janky way to land ultra because counterhitting with a slow ass move is pretty damn hard to do.
startup is 5 frames, I wouldn’t call it a slow ass move…
anyway, either it’s incredibly easier against Sagat for some hitbox-related reasons (I play mostly against a friend who mains him) or it’s not as hard as you are saying, because I tried it yesterday and I had something like 70% success ratio with it - the other 30% I just didn’t ultra. NEVER got the ultra blocked, not even after hitting a max range cr.HP.
I would like to know the exact frame advantage after a CH cr.HP because it definitely doesn’t seem a 1-frame link to me.
on a side note, against larger characters (Sagat again :P) you can do cr.HP*2 + super, of course you need to be point blank for this one.
I’m not saying that its difficult to hitconfirm ch c.hp>ultra, I’m saying its difficult to score a CH c.hp. Normally when fishing for Counterhits people use lights or mediums, rarely are they using hard buttons. When looking for a counterhit, 5 frames is kinda slow. I don’t know what buttons your friend is pushing but sagat’s 3 frame c.jab will stuff a 5 frame fierce all day. Either way, I will give this thing another shot vs sagat.
it’s not like I’m throwing out random cr.HPs in neutral/disadvantageous situations at point blank range or something.
your argument is good as long as both players start their attacks at the EXACT same time AND in sagat’s jab range. then yeah, his cr.jab will always beat cammy’s cr.hp. but of course this isn’t always the case.
I realize you aren’t throwing out random c.hp because that shit obv doesnt work. I wanna know what works for you. How are you getting sagat to eat a CH c.hp?
Assuming both normals are within range, the faster one is gonna win every time like you said, but its not like youre going to stand outside sagat’s c.jab to try and punish it (which wont net you a CH anyways).
Tick into that shit.
Same deal with Chun’s “Nemo string”.
They set up for her CH close st.RH with cr.LP. If they can get the st.RH to counter hit, they get a shit ton of damage (CH close st.RH xx MK Hasan Shu, link cr.LK xx EX Legs, into EX SBK and / or Ultra if they’re near the corner). Huge damage off a mostly safe setup. I would think the same would apply to Cammy, right?
I guess ticking isnt a bad idea. Especially if you do it like gootecks where you just back out of jab range so their option select tech whiffs and you get the CH
What is st.RH?
standing roundhouse aka standing hk
Jab (LP) ? Strong (MP) - Fierce (HP)
Short (LK) - Forward (MK) - Roundhouse (HK)
cr. ? Crouching
st. (s) ? Standing
cl. - Close
j. ? Jumping
Standing Roundhouse, aka standing Heavy Kick. There’s a thread that can teach you all the notation somewhere in the Street Fighter 4 general discussion section if you need.
