Why I am sticking to AR’s and SMG’s (With Shotguns for certain maps) since they got the more apparent love here and I see no reason whatsoever to use a Sniper Rifle in any map.
Anyone have the Crossbow yet? I want confirmation if it can kill a target without the explosion, since I think it’s sorta dumb that if you headshot someone with it they won’t die from the giant bolt in their cranium, but they will when it explodes.

Im trying to rock the snipers but the dragunov is so fucking bad i want to cry. I really like the makarov so im making it by with that and the tomahawk, but it seems like the dragunov with the acog just doesnt work.
Did you do any research before buying the game? IMO its well known the type of game your going to get when “Call of Duty” is on the front.
Yeah, I finally unlocked the AWP and it OHK’s more, but… still. Even “quick scoping” CoD4 style doesn’t work thanks to the dismal detection. Am sad.
In BO I ALWAYS run the opposite way of the rest of the team, and 9/10 timesw I get first kill…not speaking on what happens after that…
Launchers are still effective…got some good kill with the RPG. Just no danger Close ‘cheapness’ where people die from being 40 feet away.

I thought that was the cause of the reticule moving towards people when you didn’t see them or whatever. I still think that’s annoying. Turns out, there is a TON of aim-assist in that feature as well 
I went around for like a week with it off, and every damn nub in the game would kill me 1 second faster than I could even aim on them.

Black ops is okay so far, something will be done about Hardline Pro. That thing is so far broken it is not even funny. Just get hardline pro run sam turret care package turret gunner and change the shit. And if your teamates have hardline they can change it to if it still sucks. I got 20+ kills in a match just changing packages around. So much abusable shit, AK 47 and 74 are just way to damn good.
Flipped thru the Strategy Guide during break at my job today and I looked at the damage each of the guns do and I’ll say this:
-EVERY AR does 40 damage. The M14 and FAL do 50 each
-EVERY Sniper Rifle does 70 damage
-The MG60 does 50 damage and has a 100 round magazine. The RPK and Stoner60(?) are three hit kills. The HK-something is four hits but has the least recoil
-The Python is the most powerful pistol(DUR)
-Semtex isn’t as effective in BO
-EVERY SMG had the same damage(I think) the Skorpion had a high damage output(I think) The UZI and the MAC11 only do 30 damage
Nuketown has the dumbest spawns ever. You can be in the backyard of D3 house and literally spawn right next to each other in it. It’s retarded.
Oh, great…respawning enemies are back in campaign. I called it quits after dying 30 times trying to go down a fucking hill while my a.i. army buds stand there like statues. I hate cod campaigns.
Also, why can you only play those fun wager modes with like 6 people? I’d love to do tdm with those.
Well…I’m not so sure what to think about the game. On one hand I do enjoy not having to deal with constant air support from MW2…but on the other hand it is hard to get KS going when I kill some dude and he spawns 15 feet behind me…so I kill him again and his WHOLE team spawns there. That is my biggest gripe so far…and it is really ridiculous. Like to the point of being fucking RETARDED. But besides I do really hate the sound the silenced weapons make :shake:
Anyways I havent played w/an SRK group so far, so I cant really rate the MP yet. I will say it is next to unplayable with greens though.
