So it is the Galil.
I still think you NEED Sleight of Hand of it though. It’s so slow to ADS
It is weird how the Galil is like the 3rd most used gun in the game when it is one of the hardest one to use.
It’s cause the AUG didn’t have lolwut recoil that the pre-patch FAMAS did.
Aug is still really good esp if you put steady aim on that mug.
I run extended mags+suppressor on mine
BTW if you ever want a for the lolz gun. Use the Galil with Ex Mags, the clip is bigger then alot of the LMGs.
I’d rather just use my Stoner63 or M60.
My choice is Skorpion w/suppressor + rapid fire. Blows through ammo but still no recoil.

If you have sleight of hand on, the famas still has its dominant place - why?
Its hipfire is still good enough and is now on par with some of the other ARs which never had good hipfire anyway. SoH, makes the other patches unnoticeable.
Also I tried Famas for abit and the recoil seems fine (When you compare it with other guns like the Aug, it doesnt have bad recoil - its still very manageable.)

I can’t use the FAMAS anymore…I’m too used to the lolwut recoil and being BOUND to Sleight Of Hand for my red perk really annoys me…time to change up classes AGAIN.
As long as you use SOH the Famas nerf is negligible at best. It is still the best damn gun in the game as long as you use that perk.

It’s not easy-mode anymore. You can’t best SMG’s anymore via hip-fire. Also being bound to SoH Pro is dumb when I cause use any other red perk besides SoH with the AUG or any other Assault Rifle and not have to deal without the stupid long ADS time. Yes it’s still “good” but nowhere near as it was during it’s “lolwut” recoil days.
No it is still great, the nerfs really aren’t even noticable. I am still wrecking just as much with it now as I did prepatch. Espcially since I already used SOH and Dual Mags even before the patch came out. They did not lower the fire rate which was half the reason the Famas was so good in the first place. It really is not noticable at all. SOH is easily the best middle perk as it is and is by far the most widely used. The Famas will still be by far the most used weapon in the game.
The other thing this leads to is now people are bitching that the Aug and Galil are overpowered and want those nerfed. While I do understand the reasoning for trying to nerf the Famas, this is the problem with it. People will always bitch about the next weapon down the line even if it is not needed. The Galil is by no means overpowered and has a recoil you actually have to learn to manage.
Simply put they did not do enough to knock the Famas off its perch as best gun in the game. Is it as good as it was, no but it isn’t as far off as people think it is. It still has what it needs, a ridiculously high ROF and 35-25 damage. The added recoil does very little to it if you know how to burst fire anyway.
Yeah, I kinda thought people would move on to whining about the Aug. Galil, I missed though. I thought it would be the G11.
Most people do not use the G 11 you have to buy all the other AR just to get to it.
What is amazing is people forgot how good the AK 74u is all of a sudden. It was still the second best gun in the game behind the Famas. I still say the 47 is highly underrated as well, that gun is a beast.
