I’m not sure if its worth prestiging because getting all the pro-perks is such a bitch to do.
I only use a select few perks (all of which I have Pro’d already), and I need prestige to keep me interested in this game. That and my KDR.
Won’t you have to re-pro after prestige?
Also, if you want to boost K/D just do what everyone else seems to be doing. Join a Domination map and then camp a point that you do not own. People don’t expect someone to be camping a point the camper does not own…because the camper should really be trying to take the point instead of camping it. It’s really getting to the point of being stupid. You should be trying to win the match and not trying to boost your K/D. There is no benefit, for the team, when you camp a spot that you do not own.
Dead Ops Arcade and multiplayer are fun. The game isn’t worth buying in my opinion.
I played a few games on my friends account, seems like fun i died alot in mw2 and that kinda turned me off. But this game from what little i played it seems a little better i finished positive in every game i played. I used the m16 for every game. Some of the spawns are fucked up though.
My friend got it at midnight launch and has played it for like 30 hours according to the in game timera, insane imo.
I hate how he plays though, he plays domination and just kills people, he doesnt trie to capture the flags. That is mad lame imo.
Yeah I will, I don’t care, I’ve done it like 30 times now (Prestiged and earned everything back, that is). And honestly, they’re not hard at all, idk how people think getting pro is hard. the one i’ve had the most difficulty with is Scavenger with the resupplied grenades.
Also, that is a shitawful way to get your kills up.
Does Black Ops have an overall k/d ratio or is it separated by game type? I sure hope it’s the latter cause the objective games are more fun now having everyone actually playing to win instead of just camping. I played CTF so I could get marathon pro, thinking it’s gonna be pretty painful but I was surprised how much fun it was and it only took a few games for my pro. in mw2 u will can get killed 30+ times if u go after flags:rolleyes:

For K/D, Goto Player Card > Combat Record, it’s in the weapons Tab.
I have a video in my save file where its Slogan and I playing with 4 other green arrows in TDM. We are losing by 1000, all 4 green arrows drop, we come back and win. Only us 2.

On that note, Gun Game is pretty nice, but suffers from an overabundance of shitty weapons. I’m not asking for the best; I know there has to be challenge. But half of the shit on that list is “can’t hit water if you fell out of a boat” territory. Huddle all that up with Black Ops’s damage and spawn systems and that can get frustrating. Seriously. That last launcher before you get to the balistic knife? SUCH bullshit. At least they toned down the launchers though.

One was when a dude in S&D got the final kill with a tomahawk. He missed the initial throw but it bounced off the wall and hit the dude for the win lol.

Hardline Pro is fucking amazing. The fact that you can reroll any care package is amazing. Running Spy Plane, SAM, Care Package. Always reroll the SAM. Gotten chopper gunner from it a few times. So good.

Extra nades are dirty especially on nuketown. Ive also grown very attached to the crossbow. Ghost pro is a fuckin life saver, so many morons rely on radar and there faggy radar.
