To be fair it was Deep Impact first waaaay back in MW, which apparently most people on here haven’t played sadly.
Mostly I run around with either Spas-12, AK74U or random AR. For AR I have Ghost, Deep Impact and Marathon. '74 has Ghost, Steady Aim and Marathon. Spas is Flak Jacket (Experimenting here, think it might increase health or damage resistance), Steady Aim, and Marathon.
Most perks are useless so I don’t bother, and I dislike the Pro versions requirements like forcing me to play game modes I don’t give a shit about. Also the fact that they charge you 3K on top of unlocking the challenges is complete BS, so I don’t expect to get many of them done.
I do fine with the M16, my go-to gun usually. It’s not bad in a head to head, just this game has a lot of BS when it comes to those fights so you never know.
Enlighten you with what? Fuck, I should be the last person to defend Call of Duty. At the core, yes, it is COD and plays like a COD game. However, 4 is different than MW2 which is different than BO. They aren’t rehashes.
lol really? I enjoy BO a lot more than MW2 but I wouldn’t mind having a MW2 night every once and while with the SRK crew :wgrin: I thought I would miss my OMA/Danger Close in this game but it really isn’t that bad for me. Hovering around a 1.5 K/D and I hate being the K/D guy.
If you did research before you purchased, you’d know what you were getting into when checkout at your store. Common sense would tell you that a game released EXACTLY a year later with the same title (different subname) would be almost the same as the other. Oh, and not to mention that its made by the same company that made a similar game, with the same name again, 2 years before.

I didn’t purchase it. I played it extensively at a friend’s place. I already knew it was going to be the same shit, which is why I don’t buy CoD games. I still don’t understand why it’s so popular.
@Rugalitarian The COD series is proven to sell so why completely change/over hall the game if it’s doing so well? Thats the same for every game. Each iteration is a hash of the old with new elements. Not everyone will agree that the game is the same ol’ stuff from two years ago.
This game is going to be one that needs to grow on me to really like it. I really enjoy the new purchase system to have access to perks and attachments. It kind of levels out the playing field for certain game types. For example, having access to Ninja when playing Hardcore S&D is a must.

If you didn’t like Call of Duty before, this isn’t the game that is going to change your mind. It’s a little buggy and the gun effects are starting to get to me, but it’s pretty solid so far.
I’ve been wasting time killing bots in combat training. I like how GTs from your friends list are assigned to the bots, so you can pretend your Live buddies want to actually play with you.

The crate concept is a bit inconsistent, but it makes more sense to have a sentry as something that would come in a crate rather than magically appearing. UAVs, airstrikes, copters, etc. make more sense without crates as they could be invoked by some universal remote type of thing(easier to carry).
Then again, its a freaking video game not suppose to be realisitic.

This is not true. Well, it might be, but that is not the reason that the numbers are much lower than the first few days. There was a glitch in the counter and Treyarc fixed it. In fact, Treyarc has been doing ninja-fixed on the server-side for the past few days.
Yesterday night (or early today), they supposedly fixed the bug that causes parties to disband if it takes too long for the host to find a game.
Still loving the multiplayer. The Galil or whatever its called is fucking beast. My favorite gun so far.
And good lord the Zombies are much harder than in World at War. I’ve only made it to about round 6 playing with one other person. You really need solid teammates to do well.
The Solo Campaign on the other hand is complete trash imo. Alot of the time I’ll be trying to shoot from behind cover where the enemy is definitely visible and I end up shooting an invisible wall. It’s as if the cover object has a bigger hit box than its shape. Stupid.

I got the game at twelve on launch night, second to grab a copy, get served and race home.
Sadly when I got on it was the lamest experience ever because of constant lag and being put in foreign games!
Then the next day I find the feature to only play local games! All you need to do is press select at game type and choose if you want to play the whole world and lag kills/be lagged on, or just play your own people and have a near flawless experience!
I watched a play back of someone from Sweden trying to quick scope in a game via the playback. Fail after fail with not even a hit marker yet he struggles on getting dropped. Hope he stumbles across the local only feature.
Even if you don?t like the game you have to admit that this is the best feature added to the series to date, one they need to stick with!

I understand it from a ‘physical’ stand point, but from a ‘balance’ stand point, its REAL crappy. In MW2 half the time I didn’t get to use the sentries I got until I died - simply because I had to call shit in. Between MW2 and this, my KS has simply become UAV/Spy Plane, CP, Sentry…then I expect to die so I can find some remote place with the UAV and drop my stuff.
