As much as I like BO, I’ll agree here.

As much as the MP40 ruled w@w, I’ve said it time and time again. In hardcore in that game, the MP40 is trash compared to other guns.

My gripe about BO is that everyone uses the same guns. You never see anyone using anything but Commando/AUG/FAMAS/AK47u/AK47.

If you’re lucky you’ll see an occasional G11/FN FAL.

It’s the main reason why I use shotguns only, as a way to say to that AK47u user, “Hey, screw you. I can kill you in one shot if you’re too close. Does that piss you off that I can play just as cheap?”

I know it pisses people off that in BO someone can use an inferior weapon and have success, although it’s hard to do so.

Matter of fact I got hate mail last weekend for doing it :rofl:

I’m also tired of people comparing the weapons BO to W@W. The guns in W@W were very different in sound, design and recoil wise in comparison to BO. BO guns are all the same for the most part.

also this game, the maps are HELLA SMALL so weapons like 74u dominate cuz its so close, but when you play outside, that weapon sucks cuz it can’ shoot more than 40 feet~
BUT i was also gettin out ranged when I had a red dot and they had a silencer (both ak 47) :open_mouth: … $till pissed

******Also, Reflex and red dot work with guns differently, Im suprised we haven’t gone into detail about that!

Sure, everyone likes to use the best guns, but I swear it seemed like you saw more variety in MW2.

I blame the removal of Stopping Power for that problem in BO. I think certain people were more inclined to try “weaker” guns damage wise if they could make up for that using Stopping Power.

Without Stopping Power there’s no incentive for using a gun that’s weak on damage, no matter how low the recoil is.

Not sure what you’re referring to.

You still can’t camp and win objective based games. People camp in BO the same way they did in MW2.

And I run regardless. I use Marathon Pro in both games.

Why are people saying the scrubs are the ones that couldnt deal with commando and such? They were broken parts of the game that the less skilled players relied on. Thats not an excuse for using them at all (If you did).

“Also Blops took out running around except in hardcore”? Im sorry but thats must just be your experience since people camp so much harder in harcore because they can get away with it (As in every cod hardcore mode) IN MY experience.
There is nothing stopping you running around and playing the game how you want as it provides thing like marathon/ smgs etc etc.

atleast In mw2 you could use your secondary weapon… most of the time, people where running around wildly with these… WHICH I WHAT I MEANT BY RUNNIN AROUND
IN bo… the 2nddary class is useless and Ive only played against MAYBE 3 people who are good with crossbow or knife since november even a handgun.
Also, BO forces you to take a position more than MW2 where you could go NON stop while here you wanna camp rather than just run around.
I didnt mean ppl dnt camp in HC, the 2ndary classes jus actually have a chance.

You try to run around with marathon and light weight w/ a handgun and well… your not gonna get 11 kills… maybe a nice 3 here 3 there… but not that many.

I miss overpowerd from mw1 … 2 primary classes… woulda made sense in BO
but this game lacks the Deagles so I really dnt even care for the 2ndary.
and the guns all shot the same and apparently 70-80s were the years revolvers didnt have recoil!

yeah… W/e I jus hate being paired with scrubs who dwindle in the last moments of a match or jus flat out Heroine Bone suck!

it also feels better to get an ac130 than dogs… (IMO)

In mw2 I saw people using stopping power, or people runnning around with duel shotties or 2nd class guns (which in BO, the 2nd class is pretty fuckin whack)

  • In bo… theres more variety… its just within the primary class.

    you can’t run around in BO like u could in MW2… for w/e reason…
    • I said this and people posted b$ about marathon and close ranged weapon…
    • I mean… no fuckin shyt, camping with marathon is a waste unless u wanna run to opisite sides of the map.
    • Even with the small amount of lunging in this game, its still waaaaaaay harder even while using lightweight pro and mara Pro
    • And ps… you fuckin used close ranged weapons in Mw2 to run around, those weapons were more effective even w/o SP
    • This games has smaller maps so camping is a little easier and the wait time when you camp offer more of a reward.

Its just completely different from running around in mw2 with your SECONDARY CLASS OUT which in BO… is not really an option.

And yeah, I dunno why I post here when I give valid inputs, info, schemes, and w/e else you want in the bag of yous(tricks).

I’ll agree with you on the secondaries. I miss being able to use them since they were… effective (Handgun/machine pistol wise anyway)
Blops I just run the strella on every class and sleight of hand. Dont need a secondary as much this way since I can reload instead and it helps the team a ton when I take out every single uav / killstreaks.
I think they are useless because of no stopping power, but thats a topic I am on the fence about. I sure do miss stopping power, but it was never ‘needed’.

Wow lol. People get still get anal about spelling and punctuation on the internet? Any who, I play HC S&D most of the time and I mostly use shotgun like 95% of the time. To me personally I don’t really care what gun you use, perk, attachments, etc. I will smoke you. True some guns are better than others but at the end of the day if you are good you will find a way to work around things that bother you. My combat record is decent 2.8 w/l and 2.2 K/d with a spas-12 as my favorite weapon and second chance doesn’t affect me :slight_smile: my shotgun nullifies that shit free.

Just wait until the next COD comes out and everybody will just say that the newer game is better. Wash and repeat.

I personally hate having the shotgun as a main gun because it limits you to running around and praying that nobody sees you. I hate having to choose between fighting from 100 feet with an AR or getting within 20 feet with the Shotgun. I want options during the game not just at the main menu.

There should be a sliug attachment for shotguns, get range but lose your spread. At least say, for the olympia or something. I mean, if they are going to be primaries, they should be sort of versatile at least. Really, its not like SMG’s are bad at close range, not to mention you faster and aren’t helpless against a guy 20 feet away from you. The range where shotguns are most effective and knives/ARs or SMGs aren’t is pretty small.
I played MW2 the other day, it was pretty easy mode, I kept expecting to get hate mail based on the number of claymore kills I got.

The only that pissed me off in MW2 was the javelin glitch. Everything else I can avoid like noobtubers or lunging commando users from 15 feet away.
