How could really implement a pay to play system for only one game? People who have to get COD for Xbox already have to pay 60 bucks for their XBLA service, but now its gonna be 120 just to play one game? They already make enough money off the franchise, they dont need anymore. This is ridiculous
I will quit playing COD once they start doing that. They want to do it with MW3 I just don’t think it was implemented in time.
Activision already gets at least another $30 per year per player in the form of map packs. How much cocaine are they blowing through over there that they feel the need to go with a subscription-based model?

To be fair I googled call of duty tournaments before I asked anything and didn’t find shit.
heh so they’re really pushing for this eh? now say the trade off is that 30 we payed for 2-3 map packs get’s now divided up month by month. and now re-adjust it to maybe like 36 bucks a year (6 bucks a month it comes out to) so based on how many new maps we get it’s would be:
1 new map a month, title/patch updates, maybe opening up new playlists or a playlist of the month (like nuketown 24/7) and at the end of the day it’s not THAT bad but I’m making up my own numbers and whatnot here. if they demand double digit cash per month, forget that I’d rather use the money to update my PC and go back to PC gaming.
I’m on a wait an see mode for this…and Jae Kotick ain’t the only CEO after your money man…he’s just gets shit because he admits it and is proud of it.
edit - ok rereading this on other sites. man it’s just an analyst hearsay. Nothing is official and for all we know this might just be for that CoD MMO not he main games…

I went 28-3 on Underpass today with FAMAS Bling Silencer and FMJ, Stopping power and Commando. My Killstreaks were the basic 5-7-9 set up, but my 7-9 didnt really give me that much kills. But all in all, it was an enjoyable game.
I don’t know about all that.
