I think what you are describing is the lack of hit detection in BO. Do you aim or just hip fire?

Mostly aim. I use hip fire when i dont have time to aim. My hip fire does go through sometimes, which is why i think this whole shotgun thing is random. Shotguns ive been using are Olympia and SPAS. I switch between them.
So I have a friend who wants to get into the Black Ops tournament scene. He doesn’t use the internet very often and asked me to look up some info about it. Where do I start? What’s the easiest way to find a tournament in our area? Any other advice.
ALWAYS hip fire with the SPAS. You can use it like the Striker/M1014 from MW2 and kill in 1-3 shots depending on range. Use a combo of ADS-hipfire with the Olympia but only cause the OHK range and damage it does it pretty large. I only ADS with the Olympia when the guy doesn’t see me as ADS with Shotguns narrows the spread. You should ALWAYS ADS with the Stakeout though that thing’s got like MW2 Spas-12 range sometimes.

There are times at range where you will use 2 shoots with the shotty, anything other than that, new weapon of choice. Pinche pescado!

I’ve 4-shot someone with the spas and they’ve lived. 2 shots max ain’t computing
So I just recently prestiged for the 3rd time, and I’m just trying to force my self to play alot slower. Im not dying 8 times in the first 2 minutes in the game anymore, I’m just trying to take things much more slowly and just try to keep my deaths to a minimum. I’m gonna try and make things a little harder on myself by only using the FAMAS for a while. I think that if I stay away from fully automatic guns for a while It’ll probably improve my accuracy overall, so I’ll be using the FAMAS, M16A4, FAL, and Snipers alot until I really think I got my accuracy to where it needs to be. I really like the FAL, you can a 2 shot kill with either the Holo or ACOG scope attached to it. I prefer the ACOG myself, Its really good with SoH cuz of the delay the ACOG has when you ADS, but after playing with it for a while I can live with the delay and keep Scavenger as my Perk 1. And even for the FAMAS and M16A4, I dont really need a scope attachment, I can go Bling with Silencer and FMJ and do just fine with those weapons Iron Sights.

I was playing Domination on Radiation(ugh) we had A and B flags. I place my Tactical Insertion behind the fence near the door switch and just ran around Spawn camping flag C and overall just being annoying. We win and some guy on the other team sent me a message asking me how I felt cause I’m a cheater =/
Lol that’s where I put my tac insert for capture the flag. Almost perfect because hardly anyone backtracks in that area after spawning. Launch and Radiation should be put together as 1 map.
