Im pretty sure they did it on purpose, the game seems alot more focused on close quarters combat. Dont even sweat not bein Pro in this game, the curve is VICIOUS, you go from completely running thangs to gettin ultra camped in the blink of an eye(not to mention all of the exploits/BS)

Camping is a part of the game, just like turtling is in street fighter. You just have to get around it or just drop a missile on 'em. lol
I have no problem with camping TBH, I do it when I use a sniper rifle, but MW2 just doesn’t really give me the same “edge” I had if I did the same in MW1.
Third person is fun, almost cheating. I can see around the corner without actually exposing myself. XD
I need help getting 2 last trophies for mw2! Gotta get me a partner that wants to to go in the deep end with a few hard spec op missions.

Good im glad to see they are doing someting about those damn shottys. It isnt just the 1887’s though all the shottys that can be duel wielded need to be made to have less damage. I kinda hope they do something about the spawning aswell such as spawn armor for a few seconds. Getting really annoying now when someone has chopper gunner and your dead the second you spawn.
I dont know about spawn armor tho, did you play Killzone 2 before they patched that? youd spawn take 50 bullets an kill off about 6 people ina row before you died! They patched that with the quickness…but they def need to do something about changin spawn points/aternate spawn points due to camping.

akimbo 1887 is retarded. add that with bling FMJ, stopping power, and steady aim, all you have to have is the enemy on the screen and pull the trigger. no aiming required.

i dont think this patch did anything to the 87s, seems to me that they’re still the same, i could be wrong tho, and whoever said that prestige sucks wasnt lying, i miss the acr so much :wasted:

Yea it didnt do crap to the 1887’s…yea i said Prestige’n sucked, it was a mad rush for me to get back to the ACR (im in love with that gun) but durin the meantime i used the Scar, which isnt that bad and it has the best metal sights in the game imo.
The patch was pointless it hasnt seemed to do anything at all. Then again it might not have been this patch that was the fix for the 1887’s. And yeah prestige is kinda pointless too lose all your hard earned unlocks just for some new titles and emblems. And you can prestige more then once eh???. Good job the m4 is still my fave weapon i do want the m21 back though ahwell nearly there.
