No i ment you think it is possible to stop a predater missle with the stinger? Probebly not as there maybe isnt enough time to get a lock. Just wondered if anyone has managed it. And yes you can get the ac130 with the predater or so i have heard anyway you can get it with the javalin too.
My mistake, theoretically its possible with some other air support. But you’re right there isn’t enough time to lock on before it hits. Not unless you hit it with an rpg/at4 randomly without locking on?
I dont think you can, it shoots out like 6 flares which the stingers lock on to an detonate…ive tried a afew times to no avail.:wasted:

You can shoot down the ac130 i know you can shoot it down with a stinger(1-2 hits) depending on wether your missle gets throught the flares and you can definatly shoot it down with the javalin in 1 hit. Its easy to take it out if you have 2 people shooting at it with stingers. No chance in hell of getting it with the at4 and i have seen sooooo many people try. Dont know if you can get it with the predater or not i have heard you can though.
What is prestige ive heard it mentioned before but dont know what it is??

Hmmmm ill def have to try this tonite when i get the chance…ive taken it out before with a predator by accident but targeting it on purpose is hard as hell bc it moves pretty fast, you can prolly catch it when it hovers for a couple secs before it leaves…
Oh yea prestige is when you max level an start all over again, you get a new medal to show youve prestiged but you have to relevel all your weapons, perks, attachments again…i do belive you get new challenges and titles tho. So its all preference. You can choose to stay max lvl or prestige(i think theres 12 lvls of prestige) correct me if im wrong!

Ok i can confirm 100% it is possible to shoot down the ac130 with 1 stinger i did it tonight couldnt believe it just fired my missle it launched its flares but i still hit it and boom bye bye ac130. I had the stopping power pro perk aswell btw so that probebly helped. I got hatemail from t he guy who called it too good times.
