Saturday night was great to see all of you came out, and we had an amazing night to say the least, with ggxx having the championship changed hands 3 times in one night, and we have a new cvs2 Calgary champion named Byron.V

First of all, I apologize to everyone whom I have to put “???” to the characters that they used during the tournament… I was probably doing some other things while your matches were going on.
The finals between Byron and I were so close, that Byron was a little bit away from taking the second set of the grand finals with a lead of 3-1, but then it just didn’t go his way at the end.
Yoshi will have his title shot againt Ian next week in Alpha3.
Cvs2 elimination challenge(to determine the #1 contender for Byron.V’s championship).
The match began with #1 and #2, then winner moved on to play #3
and so on… then after #20, the winner moved on to re-start at #8 and eventually play until everyone played twice.

Early in the match, Mike.Lee dominated his way until he met former champion Garett, and Garett then took control until he barely lost to Ian… Then Ian finished off the first round, and moved on to face #8 Arnie, and Arnie finished off Ian with his c-groove Honda. Arnie basically dominated everyone, until at the end Byron.L finished off the match as the final winner… He will face Byron.V for the Calgary Cvs2 championship in the near future.
We will see a battle between the Byron’s for the Calgary cvs2 championship soon!!! Ian will then put up $5 to challenge the winner of the championship match.
Mvc2: Lester challenged Ray for the Calgary mvc2 championship, but Ray was such a cheap cheater and used the most under-handed tatics to retain his championship. Just kidding, but the match was not pretty with Ray using some old school trap tatics… Anyways, Ray will defend his championship against Arnie next week. Lester will have another chance later!!!
Third Strike: Champion Johnson will defend his championship against Erim next week. At the same time, Long and Ian will face off to see whom will challenge the champion next.
GGXX: It was unbelievable to say the least, with the 1st championship defense featuring 1st. Yao(champion) against Hong(challenger)… result new champion: Hong.
2nd. Hong(champion) in a rematch against Yao(challenger) with Yao putting $5 on the line, and Yao wins and becomes the first 2-times GGXX champion.
3rd. Former champion, Kevin.C puts up another $5 to challenger Yao in a rematch from the previous week, Kevin.C was then victorious over Yao, and again another 2-times champion was crowned.
This coming week, will be Kevin.C(champion) against Adam(challenger) for the championship.

I probably won’t show up this weekend the roads are pretty bad…or so I hear, either way it wasn’t like your baek would stand a chance against my steve. :badboy: baek’s mixups are pretty slick though and when you figure out how to flamingo cancel he gets better, but not TTT good since he’s a whiff punisher now. you should play nina more she’s probably the second best character and is a pretty good counter to steve hint.
