Saturday Feb12 main events:
This week, we have several main events going on that will make this Saturday one of the most exciting ever…
1st. We have Tekken 5 tournament starting at 7pm, sign up early!
2nd. 5 on 5 elimination match between Team UC and Team CP(calgaryplanet.com) and possibly Team EC(not sure). Starts at 9pm
*Team U.C consists of a dhalism player that will crush every other team and at the end will destroy Ray’s mvc2 confidence once and for all! HAHAHAHA yeah right!!! :encore:
3rd. Grand Final match of last week’s cvs2 tourney featuring Byron.L and Ian.
4th. Top4 tournament to determine the best player of each game.
Starts when the top players are all there… latest 9:30pm.
Top4 of each game: (need you guys to confirm about coming or not)
mvc2: Ray, Byron.L, Regent, Arnie(absent), Corey
cvs2: Byron.V(absent probably), Ian, Byron.L, Ray, Nelson
3rd strike: Erim, Ian, Johnson, Long
GGXX: Kevin.C, Johnson, Adam, Derek… or Long, Jeff.
Winner of each game will be named “champion” :encore:
Once, I have the “CHAMPIONSHIP BELTS” available :wow: … we will have the champion defend the title at least once a month.
Each mini-tourney winner will be the next #1 contender for the title.
Champions(only while they have their title reign) will participate in Saturday events free of charge. Special challenge(if you are not the #1 contender) may be made to the champ, and it will be a money match of $5(from challenger only), and set to best of 5. The Champion(whoever wins after) will take the belt and his money back. If Champion wins, he keeps the belt and the $5 from the challenger.
We will have two sperate leagues, the intermediate and the advance… and we will have two sperate brackets, and winner of each bracket will meet in the grand finals. This way the intermediate level players will actually have some fun in the tournament.
I am trying to make this more exciting and enjoyable… I can’t wait to see Ray standing on a stool holding up the mvc2 championship belt and scream!!!

If you don’t defend the title at least once a month, then you are strip of the title…simple as that. When the champ is not there, then we will have a mini tourney to determine a #1 contender. whom will get a refund of entry fee for that week.
you still have a chance for rebate include 10wins or lucky draw for that week.

For goodness sake, this Saturday has been the most unbelievable one of all time.
We crowned two Calgary champions tonight(Top4 players match), Hopefully we will have the title belts ready before the end of February. :tup:
CVS2- Garett!!!(N-bison/rugal/vega ). He substituted for the absence of Byron.V.
Byron.L defeated Ian first round.(which also makes Byron.L the winner of last week mini cvs2 tourney)
Garett defeated Ray first round.
Ian defeated Ray next, then Garett defeated Byron.L
Byron then defeated Ian.
And finally, Garett defeated Byron.L to be crown the current Calgary CVS2 champion. His first title defense will be against Byron.V. Then I think we should give Eric.Wu a special challenge match with the winner of the Garett vs Byron.V match, for Eric’s level of improvement over the last month. :tup:
MVC2- Raymond.(Teams of Magneto,Storm,Sentinel,commando,Psylocke)
Total domination by Raymond defeating Razor(Corey), Byron.L, Ian. Too good!!! :tup:
However, Ian defeated Raymond later twice in a row with a team of Dhalism/Ironman/Psylocke…seriously!!! So, Raymond’s first title defense will be against Ian in a “NO SUPER TOP TIER match!!!” for the Calgary mvc2 title!!! That’s right!!! :wow: Yes, Ray! you will go :tdown: next week when my Dhalism/ironman take you out!!! enjoy your days as champion this week! :encore: Long(300ZX) should get a title shot for his willingness to learn next week against the winner between Ian and Ray… which Ian will win!!! :tup: :tup:
We also had the result of Team UC vs Team everyone other than UC. 6 on 6 elimination style. Team UC(in proper order)=Long, Steve Yuen, Garett, Eric Wu, Ian, Ray) Team everyone other than UC=(Johnson, Mark, Shane H-town, Brett H-town, Corey, Byron.L)
1st match… Long vs Johnson… for goodness sake, I still can’t figure out how you two could end in a time over draw game… both eliminated!!! :wow: :wow: TOO GOOD!!!
Then from there on, Shane(shanelighting) dominated all members of Team UC like mad. Finally, Raymond stepped in and destroyed everyone in Team everyone other than UC and took Team UC to victory.
Note: The entire night, Raymond ONLY LOST TO IAN ALONE in serious matches!!! :wow: :wow: :wow:
