also trying to battle lounge it up with some guy in socal (that i get a perfect KI connection to) is super teleporty and mostly unplayable. also tried a few people in chicago with the same results.
i dunno if it’s just my internet or what, but it’s super tough times. ranked matches for the most part are okay-ish.

the s.rh CC confirm is so huge, I love it. Ken’s mobility is pretty unique for a SF game, weird getting a feel for it. feels good when it comes together but my hit confirms are still so bad, a lot of c.mps into nothing there
so local matches are fine, but general ranked ones aren’t

ggs ggs. ken’s s.rh is pretty damn good and it does huge damage. i didn’t know Ken hits so hard (on top of Cammy having the lowest health).
The netcode seems to be hit or miss. Lots of people say it’s great, but I have 100 down 25 up with Telus, and there is an insane amount of teleporting any time I fight a character with fast walk speed like Vega, Karin, Chun or Cammy. They walk back and forth and it becomes impossible to react to anything due to the warping.
I also get the feeling that my opponent is not lagging at all, because during these laggy matches, they are AA’ing and whiff punishing as if the connection is perfect.
I’ve seen examples of the full brunt of the latency being given to one player or the other, so I think some of us are just unfortunate enough to be on the losing side of that coin for whatever reason.
since the in-game chat functions are trash, you guys want to start a WhatsApp group for this? it’d be easier to play each other that way, more responsive than the forum and less annoying than something like FB messenger

ya, the run is the v-skill. doesn’t even have to be an OS I find, I just do it on reaction in training mode and get it every time. in matches I sometimes get a little too excited
the one OS I really need to get down is s.FP xx v-run, apparently it’s possible and if so, necessary cuz s.FP xx run is mega unsafe unless you got the CC
Alright guys I created a WhatsApp group for Calgary SF, so we can set up matches easier. It’s got 7 dudes in it so far, the 7 I had in my contact list… @nos99, @Imagine4D, Troy, @w00fles, Lap, Mark Diaz, and my bro all have invites. Give WhatsApp a DL and drop me a line and I’ll get you added to the group… imo this will work until the in-game friend list stuff gets upgraded. It’s a good, not spammy app that works on both Android and iPhone so everybody should be able to talk to each other.
