I really like his stage, and his look is great. Played about 100 matches with him on saturday with a friend.
I actually liked him alot, the biggest Issues I had were vs Saber and Riptor, they just fuckin ate me up,
I just felt super helpless against them, I just ended up running like a bitch and trying to load stones up. Even though I’m not sure why, since armor did not seem to matter much against these 2 bastards.
I had great success vs Thunder and did ok vs Spinal.
but by about match 70 I was in the tank so absolutly nothing was learned after that. Still, it was pretty fun lol.
If they’re in your face try doing a yolo spindash or yolo headcrush (that giant punch move). Helicopter also works too if they’re trying grab mixups, since that’s grab invulnerable.
Already signed up and paid for that a few weeks ago.
Also, I think those guys may be coming to big annual drink and draw that they do every year during the Calgary Comic expo.

yeah, shadow whirly punch is throw invincible but apart from that and the giant shadow punch (which has infinite armor but no throw invincibility), he has no wakeup, so you have to try and save your armor so you can take hits and interrupt attacks
if you get caught without armor on wakeup, it’s really really hard, in fact in a lot of cases you just kinda lose the entire round and maybe the match, so the goal is to try to not spend your last hit of armor on something else unless you’re positive you can get more
despite that though, he actually might beat sabrewulf because of his relative lack of multi-hitting moves to beat armor, it’s certainly one of his better matchups imo. his worst matches are probably fulgore (up laser is a problem) and people who have success jumping around his head a lot (maya, maybe)
there’s a glitch right now that if riptor does his talon rake special move (runs and jumps at you feet first) or if he does flame carpet, even if aganos blocks he loses his armor, so that uhhh kinda sucks but it’ll be fixed by the next patch

Well I played my first few games of solo ranked in HoTS today and god damn is it shitty. I really think I can only play this game with friends, for solo queue I’ll just stick to DoTA. No voicechat really makes the game so much worse since you have no way to coordinate with one another. Not even worth my time.
I watched it 0.5 times and got bored. Prize please!
