Ken for sure. Outside of Momochi’s impressive track record with the character he has more tools to open people up and more come back factor. Ryu is a solid character but his play style is rooted in solid fundamentals but the rewards he gets from that is pretty small in comparison to other characters. You can’t really play the traditional zoning game in SF4 as much due to the sheer number of characters in the game that have anti-shoto fireball tools. This is pretty much why most Ryu players switched to characters who did similar things as Ryu but better. For example, Ryu does low forward xx EX Fireball, FADC, Ultra 1 and it does pretty good damage. Evil Ryu does low forward XX EX Fireball, FADC, Ultra 2 and your dead.

there is a sign above the door that says “fei long movie” and “baby dragon” with a picture of his face. its really really fucking quick though maybe only onscreen for 1 frame. its right before ryu goes through.

Also, he better not be. He’s the most vanilla and generic of SF characters (other than Ryu, but he’s the poster boy of generic).
Another NRS stream tomorrow. Brutalities are getting revealed. From the sounds of it people who dislike gore definitely shouldn’t watch haha. I hope they’re as impossible to pull off as they used to be (I’ve never been able to pull one off, but I didn’t try that hard as a kid, admittedly)

Late response. I had to redownload the game to check haha, but neither Injustice or MK9 are like this. You can inch around like any other fighting game.
Also, it’s not in MK2 either. You can move forward by a pixel just fine. Maybe Mike was thinking of MK1? I haven’t played that since it came out.
