Care to elaborate? I can’t really fault businesses for listening to overewhelming (and recent) market research.
I don’t, but sometimes I wish I listened to reviews more than I do. I’d have saved a lot of money not buying Evil Within, Resident Evil 6, and so on and so on ;). I think review scores should be a thing of the past though.
Triple A games haven’t commonly had demos for like… over decade. It was definitely an exception in the industry that MK9 and Injustice did. Are the 99% of big name games for the past ever weird and shady? (Probably but whatever)
Besides, Imma have the game at midnight on the 13th so ya’ll can just try out my copy then. Who needs a demo ;).
Her costume must be sick! I didn’t even know Silk was being hated on. How? She’s like the most relatable and likeable Marvel character since like… Peter Parker. She was underused in Spider-verse but that’s not the character’s fault.
Sometimes nerds really are just the worst. They’re complaining like crazy that Batman’s son has super powers now (which is awesome and creates a neat dynamic with trying to raise an already disobedient son who can now throw you into outerspace), and the outcry against the new Batgirl, which is amazing, was ridiculous.
Part of why comics are so fun is that they’re always changing and surprising you with ridiculousness that you can’t get away with in a lot of other media. If people want things where the status quo always stays the same and everything returns to normal after every story they should stick with sitcoms - like Big Bang Theory and Two and a Half Men…
I’ll keep my Detective Chimp, thank you very much.
She’s Spiderman, except an asian-american girl. Pretty much.
The latest in a series of attempts by Marvel to create more “socially aware” characters by basically just taking their existing male characters and making them into girls or something. See also Female Thor.
But she has a much stronger spider-sense! And an eidetic memory! And she makes webbing from her fingertips (also clothing…somehow)!
There’s also Mayday Parker and Spider-Gwen. They’re all very distinct characters personality wise. “Female Spider-man” is selling them short.
They’ll grow into themselves. No one calls Miles Morales just “Black Spider-Man” anymore because he’s become such a well developed and amazing character.
Pokken is more similar to Cyber Connect 2’s Naruto games since those were also under Bandai Namco. Cyber Connect reused that fighting engine for multiple other titles like .Hack.
i dunno, there have been a few games that i have stayed away from after playing the demo versions (resi 6), but there were also cases where i had no interest in a game and then bought it on the strength of the demo (most recently it was destiny)
i think the only games that have to worry about losing sales are the shit ones.
Also as far as select plinking goes, I’m pretty sure the “select” button on the te2 is actually select, if not u can get the same results by mapping another button to jab or 3p
