wow Buffalo overpaid for Evander Kane
he averages about 18 goals/year, 40 points/year and he fights with his teammates. i dont think that’s worth trading for a 1st round pick. especially in the upcoming draft.
Buffalo had 3 first round picks in this upcoming draft I believe. They’ve got one from the NY Islanders and one from St Louis as well as their own (which they would never trade given that they are last place in the league currently). The traded first round pick will be the lowest ranked of the 3.
Given that Both St Louis and the Islanders are pretty much a shoe-ins for the playoffs, that traded pick won’t be eligible for the #1 draft lottery.

there will be a local tournament coming up at the end of this month at a brand new venue.
On Friday, February 27th Team Gigabonk in association with Evolution vaping / gaming lounge will be having the first (of hopefully many) monthly ranbats.
The venue will be open around 8PM and we will be hosting the regular tournaments shortly afterward. The venue is 18+ and has a liquor license ($2 a beer/hi-ball!).
They will stay open as long as we want to be there. We’ll be dishing out further details soon … but please, please PLEASE clear your schedules and make time to come out. It’s been too long since we’ve had good local tournament.
Of course there will be a stream and prizes for 1st place winners.

I’ve been thinking about Lost Vikings since playing them last night. I think what I want to try with them is go full xp leach early game. So I’ll try to split each of them into separate lanes and micro them just to soak while the other four members of the team just deathball and either push a lane or go for kills. I think this could work if the other four characters work together as a gank squad or can push and take objectives well.
At this point I think that’s probably the best way to use them. I really don’t think it’s worth fighting too much before they have ult or spin so I would need level four at least. It’s probably going to be hard to execute but I think it might work.

You’ll get the hang of TLV zak, it’ll just take awhile but i definitely think tri laning to exp soak would be good at the beginning, and letting everybody else shrekarino them as a ball of death like you said.
I’m gonna try a new Tyrande build that revolves around rewind at lvl 20, double the MLG no scopes? Hell yeah.

i think this is the optimal way also. they have no abilities and are pretty weak. you can’t really harass or prevent being harassed in a lane so you might as well soak up the xp while the rest of the team tries to force a response out of the enemy
speaking of that, I was thinking about that game where we got owned by the sgt hammer guy. because of the way laning works in this game, I think you REALLY want to make sure you don’t get dominated in a lane early. to the point of stacking as many people in a lane as it takes to keep it under control. if that means you need to leave a lane completely open to free farm, so be it(as long as the enemy can’t push it all the way, obviously)
in that game we could have run all of us in middle/top just to keep them from sieging the shit out of us. once the hammer got in siege mode, they had everyone roaming around him so we couldn’t do anything about him without forcing a big team fight. I think we need to force those teamfights - kind of like AAing someone who jumps a lot. just keep it in check and you should be fine. or they just die to c.hp(if they stack one lane for too long we should be able to out level them, the point isn’t to “win” the lane back, but to keep it at a stalemate so we shouldn’t need everyone in the same lane)
Ah crap, that Evolution Vape place is right near me. I suppose I could bus it, but would anyone be willing to give me a ride regardless? I don’t live that far from there.
