I want to play rocket league but I do not have a controller to hook up to my computer and I don’t think I would enjoy using a laptop keyboard to play it.

any ps4 pad, xbox 360 wired pads, and any xbox one pad will work. you could look around and try to find one cheap if you want.
the game is super worth it. i’m well over 100 hours now and still having fun every game. definitely worth the price of a controller IMO. i’ve played rocket league with each of those controllers a fair bit and i personally like the xbox one pad the best for the game, and the ps4 pad the least. investing in an xbox one controller for PC gaming in general might be worth it for you anyway… works with no batteries and a micro USB cable, sturdy, natively compatible with everything on windows

You can play with PC guys too, but it’s kind of a hassle.
they don’t have crossplatform parties in the game yet but its on their list of things to implement. I’ll give it a whirl when that is available

adam, that glitch that happened when all the names turned to asterisks can apparently be fixed just by resetting your ps4, it happens sporadically on PC as well apparently and you just restart the game and it fixes it

it was going for the last two days, not sure if the weekend… but yes basically training mode until it matchmakes you with a random person that you can’t control.
Still fun though, i really dig Ryu in the beta since he’s basic as fuck but still strong damage
