it’s legit one of the best multiplayer games i’ve ever played
games are really short at 5 minutes so there’s a strong “one more” aspect to it, within 10 minutes you know everything your car can do and it’s just a matter of practicing it, there’s lots of teamwork involved but you can also play a strong solo game and have fun, the visuals/audio are really satisfying so it’s fun to score goals, and the physics engine is basically perfect so your car is fun to control
it took them like 7 years of refining their other game to make this one and it shows in pretty much every aspect of the game
and high level rocket league looks incredibly awesome, they play a different game than the scrubs and it’s very apparent
it’s a pretty swell game indeed.
the replay value is huge as ricky said – and there is a pretty big learning curve, aside from the very basics.
it’s a giant cluster fuck trying to work around the other players, most of the time everyone is just set on getting to the ball - especially in the corners. high level play has got to be fairly intense as synergy is huge.
team based strategies on the fly have to be on point or else things can go sideways really quickly, lol.
one false move can end up in you losing the ball and getting scored on! does to the mind what playing a real sport does. 10/10 would recommend, it’s a fun little game that’s bound to have a pretty good lifespan.
It seems pretty entertaining, i just don’t want to have to learn another game. I’ll keep that one a spectator sport lol

i lost my groove somewhere around the 5th game of the +/- 10 we played haha
it’s cross-play, but right now you can’t form lobbies/parties with people on the other platform because they can’t reconcile the steam/ps4 friends lists (i think they’re going to add it “soon” via a lobby code that you share with people over text or something, so prob like a month or two from now you can do it)
yeah i had some okay games in there, but also missed a few easy goals, 4v4 is very chaotic and you basically can’t predict where the ball is going to go
about 13 minutes of a league final game between kronovi’s team and some other team
like… literally every single second of the match they’re doing something i can’t do, it’s so impressive
not gonna lie, i’ve been watching some rocket league replays. the game looks super fun. i doubt i’ll play it though unless it starts getting million dollar prize pools.
