even if you just do, like, jago vs jago and play it like ryu vs ryu with combo breakers, you’ll have a lot of fun. can learn the game’s subsystems on the fly pretty easily and it’s really not so different from SF4 that you should be intimidated

i haven’t read any discworld in years but it was always some good light reading. i know terry prachett was fighting to the right to take his own life due to his fear or alzheimers, but i’m not sure what happened with that.

Fightpubs have usually been scheduled for long weekends. The next long weekend is Easter (April 3/6) and MKX will not be out by then.
The dismal turnout at the Gamer Sundays anniversary (seriously like 4-5 people) really sucked and was pretty demoralizing so we kind of gave up for a while. The turnout at the vape store was kind of nice so we’ll see how inclined we are to do stuff when Troy returns from the land of tacos.
I would bring it out as well, the only thing is I don’t have sticks, so I know that makes people not even wanna try. I’ve been scared to bring it or go anywhere when I get a sunday now, cause it sounds like peeps arent really going out to play anymore these days.

i have two cronuses (cronii?) so we can just take the 3 or 4 minutes to hook them up, connect 2 sticks and leave a setup going somewhere
or can do a evening on a weekend at someone’s place or something, whatevs
also kinda depends on the place, you kinda need audio to play KI so it’s a harder sell at a really loud venue
