hurrah new sf game coming to re-ignite the scene for us while we can just sit back and relax while drinking fresh mango juice!

seriously though i honestly dont think im gonna be buying a ps4 to play this. and i also expect that this isnt gonna be a permanent exclusive either, most likely timed if anything 6-12 months or something.

id like them to make the game a bit faster, remove crouch tech, OS safejump everything, do something about invincible DPs, remove shortcuts, reduce buffer windows on reversals, change the ultra system (since we know that wont be going away), do away with the paintbrush artstyle.

and also put birdie back in so i can main the shit out of him.

im interested to see if there is gonna be at least half an attempt to get some good tutorials/training mode in there too. perhaps if the game is coming to consoles before arcade they might add features more appropriate to a console game.

soooo, max posted a reaction video talking about SF5 and briefly showed 1 of the screenshots from the leaked trailer, capcom gave him a copyright strike

so he took that video down and reposted JUST the audio of him talking, with nothing from the trailer shown, since it’s uhhh free speech and stuff. and capcom gave him another copyright strike

one more strike and max loses his entire youtube channel and his entire livelihood. max has done lots of official production work for capcom (USA) and is good friends with many there, but the japanese offices don’t care, they’d rather punish the grassroots FG personalities that work their butts off to hype their products than accept blame for the trailer leaking

wow thats pretty fucking harsh of them to do that. max is nothing but an ambassador for basically anything capcom related. nothing good can come from capcom doing that. if max decided “ok fuck capcom” and decided not to cover sf5 in any of his “week of…” features or anything else, the whole FGC loses.

its pretty clear capcom actually doesnt give a fuck about the people who buy their games.

Most likely it has to do with their deal with Sony and this leak violates an agreement they have with them. That would explain why they are doing everything they can to do damage control

Sang I am not excited for SF5 at all it looks like the same old boring shit and if you want me to be completely honest I think the only people who say SF4 “changed their lives” are people who have never played a single fighting game in their lives before that one

The classic arcade layout seems to be

Is this what everyone else is going with?

That’s the arcade standard with a few variations. The majority of people are using that template so don’t be one of those guys that holds up everyone else because they need to change their buttons every time they play on a station.
