It kinda sucks because a lot of cool games have come from small projects like what the FIM guys are doing, just the source material is so contrary to the FGC… If they had done this with A) An incredibly grim atmosphere or B) centered it around little girls or C) made it about pretty much any other cartoon out there (Adventure time for example) I doubt it would have had nearly the same bad publicity.

As someone who watches mlp, why does it bother people so much that a group of fans of a show are putting in time to make a serious game for other fans to enjoy? Its not like people are forcing you to play/watch it. As far as I can tell from watching the videos they have put out, they are actually attempting to make a quality fighting game. The idea really isn’t very different than something like P4A, except not made by a large company, and the characters come from a TV show as opposed to a different genre of games. As for the show goes, it is a well written animated show that happens to have a loyal following (kinda like avatar). I honestly feel that most people that hate on it for being a “show for little girls” haven’t watched an episode to give it a fair shot. Especially as the show has progressed the writers have realized who their main audience is and have written it accordingly. Oh well though, as I’m sure most people will have stopped reading this post after the first sentence.

I’ve heard you can disable them by setting both of your autocombo presets to Preset 1

Also, I think you guys are over reacting to MLP. In my eyes, it’s no worse than Melty
