i think the oni thing is also due to no one having any matchup knowledge whatsoever against the character. its definitely an advantage. i steal so many wins against ppl with ibuki simplu cuz they have no idea how to fight her.
dumping Smid seems crazy to me on a team that has trouble keeping the puck outta there net, they have all these young guns but they don’t seem to be meshing well.

Flames have begun to straight tank it now. I still think our team can be pretty good. It sucks we have arguably our 3 best players injured, but we play the shittiest defense ever and allow a SHITLOAD of goals. Edmonton allows more but even so Calgary allows ridiculous goals…
We score a lot but defense so bad. The team still plays to win every game and has been in it. I’ve learned that’s a meaningless phrase when you’re talking about something like a playoff run, or at the very least a spot in the playoffs, but it’s probably indicative of some kind of positive activity when your team doesn’t have the strongest pieces. It’s exciting to be a Flames hockey fan.
I realized my ultimate ambition, like what I thought about was my number one goal, “Beat The Game” as it were, were to be super rich and successful, BUY the calgary flames, and WIN the STANLEY CUP as OWNER

actually, when you look at it, they just haven’t been able to win on the Road, and to make the playoffs you at least need to be 60% wins on the road if you are going to dominate at home.
