Sam (if you see this): Daigo vs Fuudo in Topanga A League. This is why I don’t think Fei has much advantage in this fight anymore, you just have to play it carefully. I don’t think Daigo has lost to a Fei in a tournament set in a while, actually… Anyway, Fei’s a strong character but Ryu is strong too, try to maximize your advantage and make the Fei player super frustrated rather than always seeing it as the reverse.
Well thanks to the encouragement and support of my edmonton homies I will make it to Fight Pub this weekend after all.

Oh, also re: wao, he played a ton back in vanilla SF4 with Ken, I saw his name often in those youtube arcade replays. Apparently he’s also the brother of -6, that top Gouki player, neat!

i need to get back on xenoblade chronicles. such a good game. i heard really good stuff about the last story too. the combat system is meant to be really awesome.

I’ve been playing 80% KoF and 20% AE over the last 2 months, and most of my AE playtime has been with Rose. I played her a bit in Super but I always sucked really bad with her. I feel like she and I are getting along now, shes so fun to play
For real though Daniel, I think I’ve made some serious strides in KoF. I’m much more interested in playing THAT with you. I’ve finally settled on what will be my team, I’m running Mature/Leona/Yuri in that order. I only started playing Mature like, two days ago, but I feel really really comfortable with her. If you could show me a bunch of tech with Yuri, I would be very pleased!

Edmonton trades D Ladislav Smid and G Olivier Roy to Calgary for C Roman Holak and G Laurent Brossoit
First of all, you guys better fucking treat Smid good. He is a workhorse and you are FUCKING LUCKY to have him on your team. Second, Brossoit was the Oil Kings goalie for the last couple seasons, he is superlatively talented at the WHL level, but its always hard to tell if that’ll translate at NHL level. Roy, the goalie you got back, sucks. He’s been in our system for a while and he sucks. Who the hell is Roman Holak?
And one last thing… Edmonton is close to agreeing on terms with… please don’t laugh at us… ILYA BRYZGALOV!

so Smid trade was an obvious salary dump. Bryz has officially signed in edmonton on a 1 year deal, so something doesn’t add up. There’s more coming, I’m pretty sure. Calgary Sun is apparently reporting that Hemsky’s locker is being cleared out (the team is in Philly right now), so what else is gonna happen?
Reading reports that Oilers are super interested in Wayne Simmonds… what a fucking move that would be by MacT. Offloading Hemsky for Simmonds would actually be really smart. I love Hemmer but we have too many of the same player

Smid’s gonna make SOMEONE on your team obsolete. That guy never takes a shift off, and he is pretty mean. Usually only after the whistle, but it counts. He’s a responsible defenseman who you won’t notice a heck of a lot, but your team is gonna love him in the room
