Why do so many top players still don’t understand why such a thing is not necessary for SF4, and why does this poll have 35% “yes” votes

Like, offense is super strong in SF4, players don’t block for long before they either get out or get hit, a guard crush system would make Akuma/Seth/Ibuki that much better and would do nothing for the low tiers, etc etc

The complaint stems from Super SF4, which felt super defensive and a lot of the charge characters being top tier. A guard gauge would prevent people from down backing the majority of the match; however, with how the meta developed since then a guard bar would actually severely imbalance the game. In any case it would never happen because it requires an additional meter on the HUD and guard damage values added to every attack in the game.

I think most people realize that the vortex game needs to be addressed over a guard gauge. Also, lol eventhubs.

GTA5 is actually really fun

stole a jet last night, robbed an armoured car, found the military base. there are F-16s there and choppers with missiles and chain guns but trying to steal one without getting shot down will be tough. found a bicycle but couldn’t figure out how to jump on it. heard “Nigga” more times in 1.5 hours of game play than in the last six years of my life

game runs pretty smooth and looks great but is obviously too much for current gen consoles… pop in and stuff. PC version plz plz plz

lol cody my GTA5 exerience couldnt be mre different from yours.

basically after the first 2 missions i walked about, knocked people down a flight of stairs, watched a weird foreign movie at the cinema, and then decided to climb/throw myself off various buildings and any telephone poles i could get up.

Yeah, I haven’t had any graphical issues with PS3 but there are obvious limitations with current gen console for the scale that GTA V is trying to do. It would’ve been much better on a next gen console but the obvious concern is that sales would’ve been lower for next gen than on current gen. I’m actually surprised they didn’t release a PC version simultaneously but I’m sure a PC version is in the works as previous GTA’s were released on PC before.

me and my roomie got totally distracted so we only have Franklin and his dog. we just took turns going on rampages and eventually I found the airport and we left the city… now it is going to take forever to get back home. 4 stars in this game is fkin hardcore now, the FBI guys do not screw around

you should always have a grenade handy, if you find an armored car and blow it open you can probably get a ton of cash. just the one guard carries a briefcase worth $5k

in the first hour of playing I ran up to a girl sitting on a bench and face flopped into her, smashing her head against the wall and killing her instantly.
